Didn't Maresca call it out in a recent interview?

He basically called it out at the time and reports were that he was miffed.

It's all showing as true. Spineless board or inept, I can't decide.

Rodgers too. As much as I hated the way he downed tools, he was right.

Seems to be a trend.

Khun Vichai would be completely ashamed of Top from a business standpoint for what he has done to this club. We all knew the high standards Khun Vichai upheld, and Rudkin would have been dismissed years ago after his first instance of mismanagement and mistakes. Top has now ruined his father’s legacy.

King Power as a company was no doubt built on Business nouse and sharp, sometimes ruthless decisions. Top (at least for LCFC) appears to operate on auto pilot . Perhaps there are others in the family who can effectively take over his father’s legacy and have the strength to rebuild this tired and ineffective management.

King Power isn't a good business it never has been. Sue worked with Vichai for many years.

They got lucky because they got into some corruption circle with the Thai king, it's pretty easy to make a monopoly a success. Running a football club against proper business leaders on the other hand is a different matter. It's not as easy to buy a monopoly here. Although PSR and our spineless regulators proves it can be done to an extent.

Potter and Moyes weren't coming here for a reason - no funds. We were basically left with one option - RVN. The only other side offering him a job were Cov. Everyone knows our finances are up the sh!Ă·Ă·er right now. He can hardly have been expecting a 50m pot but he will have wanted foreign loans or a couple of bargains. We'll never know for sure.

The minute we knew Fatawu would be out for the season we should have been scouting for somebody to come in on Jan 1st or whenever window opens. Here we are 5 or so games later still fielding Ayew with the back up threat of the mighty MacAteer off the bench. We pick defenders who are almost guaranteed to gift a goal or two per game through mistakes then pat them on the back and hand them a shirt for the next match.

The market is hard, players don’t want to come etc, but surely we can at least find a foreign loanee who just wants to put himself in the shop window at PL level, just someone different who hasn’t lost 8 in 9 games recently.

We all know the supporters have been shafted. Managers have also been shafted. But no one  at the top can see it. Top just keeps putting his hand into his deep pockets

Yet the manager refuses to really call it out and walk

Of course he is wouldn't you? If he walks he gets nothing. If he gets sacked he gets millions! Surely you don't think he loves Leicester enough to be principled and take a huge financial hit? His managerial reputation as limited as it was will be adversely effected by managing these clowns so he may as well at least look loyal to any future prospective chairman.

The thing i don't get is he spoke to Enzo before taking the job. This apparently happened to him too, so why didn't Enzo say anything? And if he did why is RVN shocked that this has happened.

There's alot I can't get my head around at this club but there does seem like conflicting statements here and there.

Today RVN was “ concentrating on the present squad” after previously stating he had been assured of transfer funds in the January window. Rodger’s ‘ we need a refresh” which translated due to lack of transfer investment to “ refresh of the minds” Maresca unable to bring in low cost midfielder last January  due to lack of funds - Whilst managers may have a restrictive covenants in their contracts, fans are not stupid, time after time both managers and fans have been misled. The board say nothing but our managers over recent years expose the incompetence and weaknessof the  senior management running our club.

what grinds me, how can anyone defend the club when theyve frankly told porky after porky to so many managers

and some of our fans think its alright etc,

Yeah it doesn’t make sense.

My only hope is that RVN took Enzo’s advice and got them to explicitly commit to a budget of funds for transfers
. And that on Tuesday, when it’s not spent, he walks and tells the press what happened.

It’s a vain hope I know!!!
