Just watching Burnley vs Sheff utd and forgotten how poor the standard is. Like a different game.

Nice that we won't be playing Burnley next season or Leeds.

I think if Leeds, Burnley, and Sheff U go up then we'll be looking at top 3. The gap being big was a negative this season, but it's a positive on the way back down.

Who's scoring the goals?

Exactly what I was thinking. Sheff Utd look terrible, I dont think they'll make it through the playoffs.

Whoever the new striker we get in is.

Good Strikers ain’t easy to come by. Weirdly we sold a reasonable Championship one. I certainly don’t trust this bunch of halfwits to find one.

As poor as the standard is, this club is rotten and EFL punishments are coming, I’d say League 1 is a real possibility.

If Cov, Boro or Bristol get out of this division it'll challenge that points record

Still think it'll be Sunderland.

Josh Brownhill has this afternoon scored his 16th goal of the season, from midfield. We'll be fine. We'll be in the promotion mix.

So watching Sheffield United and I'm confident for next season. We are better even with our useless lot than the best remaining team in the championship - they choose to play Hamza and Cannon who can't get in our team

But then we will give our useless players a pay rise and not rebuild and comeback to the premier league ready to challenge Derbys record!

I can’t work out if what they are doing is completely understandable or a massive mistake.

Been resting big players for weeks now which obviously keeps them fit, but results have been poor and how many years have we seen that taking a good run and confidence into the play offs is massive.

I think Sheff Utd shithouse it, just

Top 3 will likely be the 3 that come down. Wasn't it the highest points total ever for the Championship top 3 in the year we won it? And the lowest combined total for the same 3 in the Premier League era?

I actually think we’d have a chance of getting Evan Ferguson on a loan with obligation deal.

He's massively out of favour at Brighton and has gone to West Ham and he’s barely played let alone scored. Surprising considering their lack of strikers.

He could do with dropping down to build some confidence

Tom Cannon is poor ask the Sheffield United fans as well! Glad we sold him he’s not good enough and I’ll stand by that.

Sadly we don’t have a midfielder as good as Brownhill who can shoot or break the line, we haven’t probably had a decent midfielder since Tielemans was in his prime.

He may well be poor most of the Championship is but as it stands we have no striker and the last move the clowns at the club did was bring in Eduoard to basically do **** all for 90k a week, so I’ve little confidence these ****tards will solve the problem if I’m honest!

I don't know how people can watch the teams in the playoffs and conclude, even in our current state, that they finish above us over 46 games. Those who think we'll be down there with teams like Stoke and Oxford obviously don't watch much Championship football.

The only two sides I'd currently class as definitively better than us right now are Leeds and Burnley, and even that might be debatable given how Scott Parker has struggled in the Prem before, who won't even be in it next season.

Sack off Faes and Vestergaard, get Mavididi and Fatawu back on the wings and sign a decent striker and we're no lower than 5th barring a disaster or enormous points deduction- which @Vacamion will tell us all isn't on the cards anyway.

Yeah maybe KDH although we have no one currently, our midfield is atrocious our defence is awful and no striker, it’s a big job. First we need a manager. League 1 imo is a very real possibility. We are very very bad.

I'm sorry, I wasn't aware I'd expressed any strong opinion either way about a points deduction.

:dunno:

Maybe have me mixed up with someone else?

Right now I agree however we will lose quite a few of the better players, I don’t have confidence in the club to bring in a decent striker, it’s hard at the best of times. With these clueless ****s impossible.

As it’s Stands Leeds and Burnley are worse than us, Farke and Parker poor prem managers without breaking FFP I see 3 promoted sides down again.

A lot of what happens to us depends on several factors, if there are change, who the manager is, who stays and what the clubs Philosophy is, ie development of academy players etc.

Knowing Rudkin BDCR and Ayew will start next year for us.
