2% based on what? There's really no facts to work with other than that we have incompetence and malaise ingrained throughout the club. We'd have to see what players we have and what manager we have.

Β

One thing we can be certain of is we won't be in the Premier League for some time.

Based on knowing the kind of odds we will be to get relegated next season. Possibly slightly higher % chance if we get a small points deduction.Β

You are just overreacting like everyone else and not thinking properly.Β

Not. A. Chance. In. Hell.

Smart money on straight through Championship to Div 1 ( and beyond).

Empty extended stadium, Empty HotelΒ  Empty executive flats. Seagrave in mothballs, can't afford to run. Time to sell up Top and concentrate on Polo.

You are just talking nonsense.Β

The sad reality is that the players we have are the perfect level for competing in the championship, we'll be fine there. The problem will be when we start "buying players for the championship" we will bring in some championship midtable duffers.

This is an emotional take, not a rational one. Immediate promotion next year is far more likely than a consecutive relegation. Whether we come straight back up or bomb out in the play-offs will depend on who we choose as a manager.

Just to add a bit more perspective to the difference between the Premier League and Championship, think about this.Β
We already have more points than Sheff Utd did in the whole of last season in the Premier League. They were getting battered every week.Β
They are now second in the Championship despite getting a two point deduction.Β

We have more points than Luton too did and look where they are in the table , I have a feeling we will be following their trajectory!

You really can’t compare the Luton squad to ours.Β

Well, there will be around a 2% chance of us getting relegated. I wouldn’t call that a good chance.Β

Ahh it’s all making sense now.Β

Jakub

Woyo

Okoli

Nelson

VK

Fatawu

New CM all ours are shit or don't want to be here or both

New CM

MavididiΒ

BilalΒ

New ST

Β

If we can get 2 of the 3 key new signings right then we could be onto something. Regardless I want huge changes, a proper clearout. Hopefully the bench is basically brand new.

Why not? They had a decent squad I would say on par with ours that season: Ross Barkley etcΒ

They really didn’t. The over performed in the Premier League. Look at their squad now and compare that to ours, because the majority of ours will still be around if we get relegated.Β

If Ruud stays for championship, he'll be able to rebuild with a load of players that suits his style, and even though the EFL want to destroy us, we'll definitely have the funds to buy decent players. Hopefully a proper rebuild year starting by selling the dead weight and unfortunately ones like Mads. Jakub will be fine in championshipΒ

Every year I think it's harder to stay in the Prem, PSR is making it a closed shop. It's highly likely next year it will be the 3 promoted teams again as none of them are as strong as we were last year.Β

I say again, Notts Forest are 3rd.

This is all very much conjecture but had they not β€œcheated” PSR would they be?Β

Who starts from this current squad in the Championship next season?

Stolarcyzk

Coulibaly Okoli (New CB) Thomas

Skipp (New CDM)

Mcateer (New CAM) Mavididi

Vardy

Β

I reckon everyone else will have been sold or contract ran down and left

Posted

Imagine we'll be stuck with Vestergaard, maybe Coady too, I'd be amazed if Okoli is still here (probably be out on loan seeing as we are incapable of selling anyone)

Β

Faes, Soumare, Daka, Kristensen should be sold for whatever we can get, but again probably end up here until their contracts are up. Maybe try and get Winks off the wage bill, keep Skipp around for a championship season.Β

Β

Hopefully can keep Bilal, with him, Mavididi and Fatawu ripping the championship up.Β

Staying up that first season you get promoted is the hardest part. Forest just managed it and then you can build from there, with three far worse teams coming up behind you the following season.Β

Given Okoli had interest from Parma, I doubt he hangs around in the Championship.Β

Β

Thomas and McAteer I'd prefer to be sold. Vardy doesn't stay another season for the Championship.Β

I can’t see Winks, Justin, Vestergaard, Coady or Ricardo going anywhere. They won’t have any Premier League buyers matching their salary and paying the fees we would require.Β
Unlikely we’ll get the right offfer to sell Ndidi too.Β
Bilal could well be around too as it would take a decent offer for us to part with him.Β

This Forest cheated and it's paid off for the so fair play, it's a gamble you take.

No I'm basing on on the incompetence running rife through the club, if nothing changes then I don't expect results to either. Plus without changes the club is going to be pretty negative/toxic. Top heads need to roll as a minimum Sue and Rudkin. I'm not convinced the club won't just plod on.Β

We will be riddled with players who are on too much money and think they are better than they are.Β

Β

Oh and probably a transfer embargo to boot.Β

Β

There is no big reset, it's the same useless players on the same massive money, playing in a league they think they are too good for, under an incredibly poor manager.Β

If they abode by PSR they'd have been relegated chap :D. You're sort of proving their point.Β

We ABSOLUTELY should have broken PSR. or maybe...just maybe, should have sold Thomas and McAteer (completely out of favour) players for the money we were being offered to then reinvest. It's actually quite simple.

This squad would be midtable quality at best. We'll lose Mads when we're inevitably relegated, but no one is going to want the rest of the feckless, overpaid tossers that we have on the books. I think Vardy will retire.

The same people that were in charge when we was in the Championship last time? Didn't we win the league then?Β
