Well the most obvious one is probably Steve cooper. Achieved promotion. Welsh. Recently awful with Leicester. He ticks all of their boxes

Oh and by the way we should have been all over a loan from Man City for that Nypan lad! An absolute engine in Boro midfield, doing the job of both our Skipp/Soumare duo (not hard I know!)

Foul throw that! His leg was way up he actually hopped onto the pitch as well! VAR chalks that off all day long.

Don’t wanna be that guy but it does tell you a lot about this division that a side currently sitting in 5th concedes a goal like that.

I think Middlesbrough look a very good Championship side.

 

Very organised, very physical, and play some very good stuff (that second goal was superb).

 

I'm not sure what people are expecting if they think Middlesbrough are a poor side.
