● On Wrexham, Manning said he admires their recruitment following their return to the second tier of English football.

Immediate dismissal surely, absolutely atrocious take

He admires it from a comical point of view.

Wrexham fans don't like Coady already. We did warn them

I can remember 'watching' one of our matches on teletext back in the day. 90 minutes of staring at the score.

I call BS.

There were 3 pages to scroll through in div 1. It took ages waiting for our score to come round.

That's right. I would dash off to make a cuppa or go to the loo when that happened.

I'll have you know that the only time I succeeded with mind over matter was during one match. We were 1 - 0 down and I stared hard and long at the 0 next to Leicester, wishing with all my might that it would change to one - and it did. :scarf:

If we happen to get ourselves into the same position at the weekend could I request that you try the same approach with the BBC web site please?

If Parkinson continues the way Wrexham have been so far in this league and gets the sack, can certainly see Savage being very tempted to go for the opportunity (provided that Forest Green Rovers continue on their strong start) - considering that he's from the area etc.

Savage may well want it, but I very much doubt they'd go for him

I can see him going before Christmas, but I doubt they'll want Savage. They'll want a 'big' name at Championship level. They seem to have got players in without much thought.

Parkinson tactically is inept at this level, and what worked in league 2 and 1 won't work in this league. Better teams, better managers, more resources. He's their biggest weakness. Well, that and Ward.

Leicester reserves lol

I remember watching the second half of Wimbledon v LCFC in 2002 on the ceefax page of a TV in a shop window between films when working at a cinema.

Have you lot never seem a redacted post before?

It was just a terrible joke.  Worse than usual and I thought better of it.  It was beneath me.

Carry on.

Based on their recruitment you can imagine Pardew, pulis or Bruce will be getting a call
