Don't mean any disrespect to Brentford because they are a good side now but being completely battered and schooled 4-0 at home to them must be a new low. Or at least a realisation of where we are at as a club.

Didn't watch the game and not even bothered to look at the goals.

Going down with an absolute wimper. Give it Nige until the end of the season lol

Saw Steve Walsh yesterday.

We've literally got no one that has the attitude of this man.

Least the old school gave a shit

We are pathetic on and off the pitch.

I hate this club

The likes of Steve Walsh are still on the club’s payroll praising Top lol alongside Taggart and Matt Elliot. I hope some of our higher profile ex players criticise the club’s board..

I think it's been pretty obvious from early on in the season that we would be going down. Managers can only work with what they have. Need to prepare as much as we can for the Championship. We have good championship players but the gulf to Premier league now is massive. Same teams will go down as came up, as it was last season too. We are miles off teams like Brentford and Bournemouth. You need bags of pace and power and we have neither.

Is there a worse more useless player than Soumare in the Premier League ?

Not read the fall out yet as only just got up after getting home at 1am. A46 closed, argghh.

Couldn't get a clear view from the other end but was Mads and Soumare involved in an altercation after the 4th ?

Yes. They had to be separated.

True but another manager might just get them organised, instill some effort, heart and fight. Most not fit to wear our badge.

I think any fight they had is gone. They all know that however much they try they are just not good enough. I'm afraid that's the case with most footballers. They are just biding their time to move onto another club.

I was out last night and I recorded it and stayed offline.  I've just watched it in full, not knowing the score, and at least this way, less of my weekend was shat on.

The game and indeed the mood appeared to change when Ayew jogged and allowed himself to be run past as our midfield opened up.

Brentford then took charge and we visibly shrank and, to be fair, Brentford looked like scoring for a while before they opened their account.

After that, it was braindead defending, defenders allowing balls to bounce, pulling out of tackles, walking and jogging about when Brentford worked hard, hoofing it long and giving it back to our opponents, and turning back to our own goal instead of driving forwards.

Soumaré, Okoli, VK, Ayew and BDCR had awful, awful nights. Academy lads can't be much worse, can they?

Still can't see where our next clean sheet is coming from.

And given that we can't score, there is little to no hope.

So, enjoy the rest of your weekends.  :scarf:

Post match on BBCRL, they suggested some players took their shirts off before or as they left the pitch? Who? I saw a couple of them run straight off and RvN didn't hang about after shaking hands with the ref.

Wins 1-0

That team gets its pants pulled down again and again down the left flank with no pace in central defence to even begin to cover.

Did you see Okoli try to do a job at RB last night?

That XI has gaping voids everywhere except the centre of the pitch, where balls over the top see it get carved open again and again.

Sadly, we don't have the squad to stop this from happening.

I think the only roll of the dice that might work would be to go to a 3 and get Facundo and Bilal together behind a top 2.

Something like

Mads

Okoli Vesty Coady

Ricardo Facundo Ndidi Bilal Kristiansen

Vardy Daka

Maybe work Coulibaly in on the left or right

I think it's about time people associated with this started having to fear in their daily lives. It's too important to too many people to be treated like this.

Too far

The bit where Vestergaard drills a pass to Mavididi to get us 20 yards further up the pitch and Mav scampers back into his own half with it leaving it at Vestys feet like a dog returning a stick :frusty:. Other than Bilal and Benouanotte we’d reached hot potato time where no-one had the guts to want to be on the ball. Ayew surprised at his subbing and reaction? I recorded it, come round and watch it mate then tell us you put in a fine or even adequate performance.

Watching Mavididi jog about on fresh legs made me want to reach through the TV and throttle him

The first 5 minutes or so we gave it a go and possibly looked more likely to score. But that's the best it got and the rest of the match was a continuation of the last several (Spurs excepted), the woeful memories all fade into each other.

There was no urgency, no determination, little organisation. Players walking or standing still when they should be running. Misjudging the flight of the ball for headers, letting the ball bounce and not being quick enough to react.

It's obvious they have given up and are just going the motions. Earlier in the season I thought they had enough about them to survive, but this bunch of wasters have no character, no passion, no bravery.

They are managed by a coach who is still learning the basics and is well out of his depth

The club is run by a bunch of passengers on the King Power gravy train. Oblivious to the real problems, both on the pitch and in the stands. It's the blind leading the blind leading the blind.

No Manager that comes in will sort anything this season it’s not possible while we have players like Faes vestergard ayew and Reid playing for us every week among others. If we sack ruud or he walks we need to look at next season not this one as it’s not going to change. We have been lucky wolves haven’t pulled away from us yet but they are probably 1 or 2 wins away from being safe now with how crap we are

Wolves will be more worried about Ipswich catching them than us.

Really struggling to get my head round what we are seeing at the moment - not just last night although that was a new low for me.

Which of these is the situation?

1.  There is a plan and the players are implementing it but it is a crap plan.

2.  There is a decent plan but the players aren’t good enough to do what is asked of them.

3.  There is no plan so the players are running (strolling?) around like headless chickens.
