Bilo Posted 22 February Posted 22 February With relegation now confirmed, which of the kids are good enough in the run-in? Evans? Monga?
Pliskin Posted 22 February Author Posted 22 February There’s already a West Ham thread open, with a more apt title to boot.
LCFCCKEANO Posted 22 February Posted 22 February Need to try something new, I’d go 3421, Hermansen in net back three of JJ, Coady and Okoli(Vestegaard if no JJ), Coulibaly and VK at wing back, Soumare, Ndidi, with Facundo and BEK behind Daka. Itll be 4231, and if we are lucky, maybe Mavididi will start over Reid as the only change. Ayew is Ruud’s favourite for reasons beyond my comprehension, so he’ll start again

Popular Post foxfan92 Posted 22 February Popular Post Posted 22 February Can we try Hermansen Woyo - Faes - Okoli - Kristiansen Ndidi - Soumare Reid - Khannouss-Ayew Vardy Then make sure Cody, Vestegaard and Thomas are among the subs? 7

Richmondfox Posted 22 February Posted 22 February Same players, same mistakes and same tactics. Chuckle brothers at the back, Stevie Wonder in midfield going for an £80k evening jog and Dad’s army attack force. 1
splinterdream Posted 22 February Posted 22 February Mads woyo. Vestegaard. Okoli. Thomas Bilal. Ndidi daka. Mavididi Facundo Vardy 1
ACF Posted 22 February Posted 22 February Mads Okoli Vesty Coady Skipp Thomas Winks Ndidi Bilal Facundo Vardy Do not trust any right back. Skipp to just be industrious and defensive which I think he can do. He slides next to Winks in possession, gives freedom for Bilal and Facundo to get on the ball. Aim to absorb pressure and counter. There’s enough defensive presence there but absolutely no brains. Hoping numbers back with getting the ball to the two creators quickly opens things up for Vardy and Ndidi to get on the end of something. Would be tempted to play Faes to instruct him to step out of CB with the ball which we know he can do well, but he does not deserve to be anywhere near the team this week. Fill bench with youth, Braybrooke, Evans, Monga at a minimum. Not because I think they deserve a chance, but because the current squad is predictable, and to get anything out of games we need an element of unknown. It is unfair to put our hopes of survival on them, but we need a surprise or two and it’s not coming from the current setup. 2
Dan Posted 23 February Posted 23 February West Ham have been rubbish this season. Loads of money squandered, one terrible managerial appointment and another where I'm yet to be convinced. Loads of goals conceded, frequently on the end of heavy beatings. With that all in mind - 3-0 West Ham.

Blue fox LE2 Posted 23 February Posted 23 February I'd go with a 4321 Don't want soumare in the team again. Not even on the bench. Would leave ayew and bdcr on the bench maybe have them come on to see a match out if by any chance we are not losing by 2 or more in the last 10 mins. Mads Coulibaly Coady okoli kristiansen Skipp winks ndidi Bilal facundo Daka Would go with vardy but not sure he'd be able to do 2 games in 6 days. Not sure about defence as there is not much to choose from just hoping Coady can talk to both players either side of him. Would be relying on full backs for the width as would play narrow and through the middle
funkyrobot Posted 23 February Posted 23 February What ever formation, he just needs to find a way to fit Elk and Buonanotte in the starting 11. Start planning for next season for when Alves will surely replace Facundo. Play players that can actually create opportunities that might result in a goal because there’s little chance of us keeping a clean sheet even if we switch to a 3-5-2 formation because we just don’t have good defenders at this level.
Gazza M Posted 23 February Posted 23 February Can't believe they are going to give Ruud another game.
Tomo260 Posted 23 February Posted 23 February I won't be watching this, in fact, any other game we play this season. I've spent enough money and time for a lot of misery. A really good tight performance I imagine so we only concede late. 2-0 to Hammers
