RVN was lucky to get the job

He shouldn’t even be here……complete novice…..non league calibre manager

He briefly stabilised an awful Man Utd (admittedly, with a lot of help from us lol) and did a decent job at PSV.

With the right players, he can probably be a decent manager. Unfortunately, we need a great manager, the kind who can get some kind of cohesive teamwork and performance out of, at best, average players.

Honestly, we all know that it doesn't matter who the manager is at this point, we need to bring in new senior management throughout the upper levels of the club to bring about the breath of fresh air we need and introduce a clear strategy into the club's forward planning.

Reading this morning that there are signs of that approach being taken at Southampton with Danny Rohl possibly being lined up for the summer.

Not even a strong rumour from anywhere that they are getting rid - beggars belief

Groundhog day FC. August will come round, King Power will still be here, Rudkin will still be the DoF, RVN the manager and we'll line up with a back four of Justin, Faes, Vestegaard and Kristiansen. We'll lose and wonder why.

Its because he's not going anywhere.

I think the only logical option, as suggested on here yesterday, is that there is a relegation clause attached to his contract.

I suspect even Rudkin knows they have made an absolute pig's ear of appointing this egocentric, nasty man. Plus, a useful sacrificial lamb for the 'review' that Whelan and Rudkin will conduct (and conclude that they were blameless, nay to be congratulated, on yet another impeccable year of stewardship)

Amazingly he's becoming a bigger price to get sacked even with more defeats. Best price of 5/4 on him being next to go in Prem https://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/next-manager-to-leave-post

Dyche fav, Martin second fav to replace him https://www.sportscasting.com/uk/news/next-leicester-manager-betting-odds/

I think we are nailed in to bring Martin in on the championship and that will be the final nail in our coffin

If we could sack him, then we would have. No way, even this board think we are going to be fine.

We can't defend, we can't score. We can't even put in a decent corner or free kick.

I'm surprised even the kit man, is doing his job right.

He is here until the end. That end is the bottom end of the table.

Here we go again. On what possible basis do you think we’re ‘nailed on’ to bring Martin in?! There’s literally not a chance it would happen.

It's nailed on, but you then can't say there's no chance it'll happen

We’re standing at the gates of oblivion, and I can’t see it changing. We need a new owner and board, because this lot are obviously clueless.Cant see them getting rid of RVN at all.

He’s free.
He plays the football Top wants.
He has championship experience.

He got promoted (our board won’t look into how shit they were)

We have long term historical interest.

He is by far the most likely candidate

we are a short sighted establishment, we won’t care how he did in the prem as the next aim is to get back there

This will be the number 1 priority in any appointment. I don't think anything will help is diverge from the thought that we must be the Man City of the Midlands.

I don't think it's 'Nailed On' but there are some very obvious reasons why it could happen

A/ Club known to be admirers. We wanted him before we got Enzo, Southampton got in first as they were already relegated and we were still in with a chance of staying up

B/ He plays a very similar style to Enzo - We got promoted at first time of asking with that style, Martin also got Southampton promoted playing that style

C/ There is zero compensation for bringing him in

Saying there is 'not a chance' of it is complete nonsense.
