The limit is 5 transfers & 5 resales, so 10 in total, which might work for you, but we are still pushing for the club to be more flexible, like many other clubs

Being a travelling fan (270 mile round trip) it's so annoying having games moved to midweek for TV. Resales should be permitted for all games moved for broadcast in addition to the 5 already allowed.

I'm not sure about that,  I see little or maybe no profit in the reselling by the clubs of tickets except when the game is a sell out.  My ticket has on all three occasions sold despite the club not selling all there tickets.  If I had not  sent my for resale the chances are they would have sold another ticket and kept all the revenue,  rather than passing over about half to me.

I agree it’s 100% about control not resale revenue!

It’s pissing in the wind when you compare that amount to the salary wastage on players who let’s face it like Vestergaard and Soumare aren’t fit for purpose. It’s like that rich ***** from INEOS culling the staff at Man Utd on minimal wage to pay supposed superstars £300k a week!

And there will be plenty more midweek’s next season with the championship tv deal.

Agree.  Even though we are shite we are still seen as a big draw in the Championship we will have loads of games moved for tv again plenty of Friday night games too.

And this is exactly why I'm weighing up whether I'll get value for money from a season ticket. I got home at midnight on Sunday and that was early for me on a night match.

That seems far too sensible a suggestion for this shower to enforce

Stubbornness!

There is an obvious conclusion that to allow say 10 transfers instead of 5 transfers and 5 resales would deny the club the additional revenue of 5 tickets at matchday prices (if they do re-sell)

Of course if they don’t resell, then the ST holder is losing the promoted benefit of receiving 1/19th of the ST price back

The Trust will be saying more on this soon

But we need an answer way before the renewal deadline, is this possible? No point announcing in the summer this has changed - because its too late to renew by then.

When can you update?

If I give up my ST do I have to become a member next season to buy individual match tickets? I'm so out of touch with it

I believe so, unless they regularly open up general sale more.

I would likely say that you perhaps wouldn’t necessarily have to it would just give you that guarantee should we have a good season towards the back end when everyone will jump

on the bandwagon.

Easy to attack everything the club announces but for me I don't think the price freeze for season tickets is too bad even if we go down, for me it still comes out at less than £20/ game which I think is reasonable even compared to Championship clubs.

However... the forcing fans into digital tickets even when we have plastic cards that can be loaded for the new season is an absolute farce and despite what they say does make it harder to give family/ friends tickets if you can't go. And the price for non season ticket holders is still ridiculous and needs to come down, no matter what division we are in. Forcing the next generation of fans out of the game. If the cheapest adult ticket is £39 in the Championship there will be so many empty seats.

There's always more midweek games in Championship anyway even without TV.

Agree to a large extent,  City are a symptom of the problem not the cause.

If anything season tickets are too cheap,  and because match day tickets are so out of kilter it has reduced churn significantly so the club are getting very few new fans.  Whilst I still enjoy football in the broader sense I do not particulalrly wish to go to every game anymore,  but I am almost forced to retain my season ticket as paying match day prices for more than around half a dozen games would be more expensive.

Think this was always something clubs were collectively going to clamp down as technically even without a fee it’s considered by the law as touting. Incredibly only with football tickets tho.

Why the laugh @Tommy G

Section 166 of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 and The 2007 Ticket Touting (Designation of Football Matches) cover it.

It is an offence under section 166(1) of the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994 for an unauthorised person to sell a ticket for a designated football match or otherwise to dispose of such a ticket to another person.

The latter applies. Part of the legacy Thatcher and the Taylor Report had

Incredibly music ticket sales don’t have the same specific laws around them.

It’s utter madness

I think every game will be general sale next season.

We will have more midweek than weekend kick offs

Getting a ticket will be easy

I get why you don’t want to explicitly market shared season tickets but I can’t be alone in living a few hours from Leicester with a family and plenty of competing commitments.

i’d love to attend say half our games but know I won’t bother if I have to buy them at general sale prices.

Personally I’d be doing all I could to encourage fans to continue to go next season.  It’ll hit home when we are hovering around mid-table and the club are expecting fans to pay £40 to watch us play say Bristol City.

Anyone remember when the season cards first came out, but then the scanning machines didn’t work? We were told it was going to be a short term problem. The stewards had to visually check the cards to allow entry in the meantime.

Cue 2 home games into the season, me and a mate claiming we’d lost our cards, paid £30 for duplicates and sold them to our mates for £40.

The scanning machines didn’t work all season. Two mates, two season tickets, £40 each.

Those were the days 🤣

8. Will I be issued with a new Season Ticket Card?

Supporters who opt for a Season Card and had one for the 2024/25 Season and retained the same seat and same age band, your current card will be updated prior to the 2025/2026 Season and you will not recieve a new season card

--‐-----------------------------------

This says to me that paying the t*at tax start of the season means I can at least use my card next season?

The digi tix haven't made much difference personally as I have it on my phone and used my phone and my card through out the season, but has been good to be able to pass on the card when I cant go.

I renewed, but I didnt get that feeling of excitement like usual, was something quite sad about it this time.

Apologies for the double post, it was wishful thinking it seems

How to apply:
If you currently have a physical Season Ticket card for the 2024/25 season, you will need to confirm your exemption by completing this application, even if your Season Ticket has been automatically renewed. Once your application is granted, your current Season Ticket card will be updated for the 2025/26 season.

If you do not currently have a physical card but fall into one of the exemption categories, you will also need to complete an application. Once your application is granted, you will then be issued with a physical Season Ticket card free of charge ahead of first match of the 2025/26 season.

Under-18s, Under-22s, and Adult Season Ticket Holders will be provided with a digital ticket unless they qualify for an exemption.

People moaning about not being able to give tickets to their mates/family etc. Completely understandable but I’ve said it before, if anything, it’s become a lot easier to transfer tickets.

Add the ticket to your wallet

Press the little Information icon in the bottom right

Scroll down to find the barcode

Screenshot said Barcode

Send the Barcode to your mate/family etc

All the ticket scanner needs is a barcode. You don’t even have to meet the person to hand the season ticket over and back.
