OK, gonna really embarrass myself with this one.

I thought the Madness song 'Welcome to the House of Fun' was about a young lad who had gone into a chemist by mistake.

I always wondered how you could make such an error.

Well, it was played on the radio a few mins ago and I thought, Hang on a minute, he's in exactly the right shop.

In fairness to myself, I was far younger and naive when the song came out

Weren't we all.

Similarly "Perfect 10" by Beautiful South.

To do with the female body image and, as I came to realise, penis size.:

When he's at my gate, with a big fat eight
You wanna see the smile on my face
And even at my door, with a poor poor four
There ain't no man can replace

'Cause we love our love in different sizes
I love her body, especially the lies
Time takes it's toll, but not on the eyes
Promise me this, take me tonight

If he's extra large, well I'm in charge
I can work this thing on top
And if he's XXL, well what the hell
Every penny don't fit the slot

You only breathe out of one nostril at a time and this switches every 4-6 hours

Have you tested this? I'm currently breathing out of both

You do not breathe out of both nostrils simultaneously in equal measure; instead, your body uses a process called the nasal cycle, which causes one nostril to be more dominant at any given time, with the body switching nostrils every few hours. This alternating flow of air helps to maintain moisture levels in the nasal passages and optimize olfactory (sense of smell) sensitivity.

Despite the Leicester City thread still running red hot in bile I noticed that if Stoke played 1st today & lost to Norwich by 2 clear goals we would go 2nd.

I also noticed that despite a draw we probably won’t drop below 5th, 6th at a push from our starting position prior to our game Friday of 4th.
This is because the other 4 teams below us play each other, it’s then only QPR outside of that who win, could potentially put us 6th.

Best case we are 4th (joint 3rd) worst case 6th just 2 points off 2nd….. I then read some of the comments in wonder……

You can test this by putting your thumb over each nostril in turn whilst taking a breath in, and seeing which one feels the most resistance or free.

I found out today that I can doze off whilst reading a post on FT

No I thought I’d post a complete lie for a laugh

Well it worked as I was and I imagine many other foxes talkers were testing this out.

It turns out you can breathe out through both at the same time but more through one than the other and then they swap.

Thanks to @Parafox for a more scientific response!

It’s sat night mate - have a gin and tonic or something.

Apologies if I’ve contributed to you testing your breathing all day

You actually only use one of your ears to hear - they then switch over every 6 hours, which is why when you cover one ear you can’t always hear properly.

And what about the plums?

Insanely I think this is actually true. When I read the post I thought about which nostril I was breathing from and concluded it was the right one. Now rereading the thread I'm pretty sure I've switched to the left one. Mental.

It is true - it’s not a wind up lol
