Why the **** does anyone want any of the current regime to stay.

Obviously Kingy can stay. In fact, he can have a go on my missus, if he wants

Why can't we put RVN on gardening leave until 1st July.  Speak to Rohl and get him to sign a contract now that starts from 1st July.

Very much available if we get our act together. Wolfsburg have hired someone else

I personally think we should swerve this guy. Why do we have to choose the hardest possible scenario to get this guy! Can’t we just employ one of the good free agent managers. Getting Rohl will bound to end up in some legal battle with Sheff Wed. Why do we always have to make such a meal of everything!

That's far too sensible - you're on the wrong forum for that :P

As unpopular as it is. I’m starting to lean towards dyche. I genuinely think he’s the safest bet available and quite simply has the best resume of anyone in the division.

I don’t like his football but at this critical juncture, I think I’d rather we go down the sensible route.

His burnley side in the championship actually played enjoyable football from what I remember. we’d be looking to be more like Scott Parker’s burnley than Leeds

I know what you’re saying. I think I agree. People may mock this next comment, but the main thing that puts me off Dyche is his win ratio. People will say ‘style of football’ or he ‘ doesn’t play the youth’ (Actually think he’d have no choice with us, as we have so many young uns)

You mean like we did with Cooper last summer?

I can see your point and understand your reasoning, but going safe with Dyche would hinder us  mid to long term.

To satisfy Dyches brand of footfball I have a hunch that any transfers into the club would be of a similar mold to Cooper. Uninspiring ' journeymen' looking for a last payday with next to no re-sell value  who in turn  are and not up to playing in the Premiership ant longer, and if by some 5000 -1 miracle they got us promoted  playing Dycheball.

We need someone who will promote the youth and get the best our of the players who do stay.

Adapting to what we have and not trying  to force sub standard  players acquired to fit into a drab, and dated way of playing.

Going Dycheball will only IMO add to our existing financial mess, sap what funds we do have on dross, and  not give us the ability to make profits on players.

He said "good" free agents to be fair.

And are there any of those available? Presumably the club considered Cooper to be a good option when they recruited him…

When compared to Cooper, they're all good.

If the sole criteria is ‘not as bad as Cooper’, I don’t find that very reassuring.

No, but it's puts us in the frame for the job. I've got an interview this week...

One thing I noticed with Dyche, is that despite his football being bland he does actually always try to sign flare players. they just often go unnoticed.  For example bringing Max Cornet to Burnley or even more recently he did sign Alcarez for Everton. He wants to be solid as a foundation but if he can add in these exciting players I don’t think he’s against it.

On paper, if he sorted out our defence and made us hard to beat but allowed the front 4 to be creative, it could be really good for us. And whilst I see the sentiment about it not being a good long term option, you’d struggle to find a better candidate for the relegation battle the next year. Maybe like Bournemouth, we have to go up and survive the ugly way before moving onto our ireaola

Alcarez signed for Moyes.

Name a good free agent manager who would join us.

Not this again. They are out there. I genuinely can’t be arsed to list them again. I do think people are underestimating our draw. Managers who are out of work really would want to come to manager us. Even under pressurised circumstances
