Any potential manager that wants the job will be totally clued up about every player. If Dyche is being lined up then he'll know exactly what we have and need.

We’ll sack RVN on the first of July and the club will announce that they will start the process of looking for his replacement. 

They always say that. It's just about leaving a decent gap so the seat isn't so hot for the next incumbent. It's all about the look. 

 

If I had to guess then I'd say the new manager has been given the nod and it's now all about timing announcements.

He kept them up and has a history of playing and developing young players.

From what I saw of Southampton, so that's his experience in English football, he wasn't very good. It's a no from me

He did well with what he had at his disposal and ultimately keeping them up was what was required. 
So who would you have out of the names that have been mentioned?

Why would he do a presentation if he had checked out ?

paying him off isn't cheap, i think this season is a about first surviving after points deduction, resetting the squad, seeing where we can finish but really looking to next season when we'll be financially better off

Please tell me what you’ve seen from him to suggest he deserves the start of next season? 
He shouldn’t have lasted last season let alone be considered for the start of next.

If we start with a points deduction and get off to be bad start then it's virtually season over before Halloween.

 

Not sure we can afford that risk.

But if we do that then we have just wasted a transfer window again buying players for a specific manager and also a whole pre-season

 

Especially when it is on a manager who has shown so far in his time with the club to be rather poor

whoever we can get in is a risk. lot of opinion i'm seeing is it won't be as bad as we think. I think we have quality players, we'll be attractive for loan players to come, you have to look at sheff utd and what they did, we'll be absolutely fine even with RVN, just think we need to pick up an experienced midfielder should Bilal go and a decent striker, posssibly loan to buy option

I'm thinking finances, thats all. If it's costing £2m to move him on and it's money better placed in the squad, I'd rather see it spent there, get through his season and look at it next, i don't see us in any danger of relegation

If the finances were ‘that bad’ why didn’t we sell sell sell during the 10 day window which we’ve just come out of?

 

I’m not suggesting things aren’t close when it comes to PSR but I genuinely don’t think it’s the case that we can’t afford to sack him, I just think it’ll be cheaper to sack him come July 1st. I also think that timeline isn’t actually too bad. Still plenty of time for a new man to sort things out imo

I think moneys tight this accounting period, and the next. We can only sell if someone wants to buy and that player wants to go. We can only speculate, it is weird and it seems like we don't spend all that much in windows, yet we're always skint but for me, ideallywe get a new manager that is rated and we have finances to strengthen

Can’t see us sacking RVN now. Lost 2 months already. Keep him, save the money and aim for playoffs if we get a points deduction. Get rid after next season when all this crap is done with about PSR
