Rohl was never going to jump from one disaster to another, Dyche knows the score with Rudkin et al. It’ll be the one who’s desperate for the job, any job, just like Cooper was. Come back in November when we start another manager search.

No I only have his most recent. From when they were below us before new boss came in and turned it round almost instantly. Happy to take a look if you can get them?

lol I'm okay, I've already made my point. I remember being underwhelmed on behalf of Wolves fans when he was appointed manager and was quite surprised at how well he did. Just saying it's not particularly fair to judge a manager by narrowing down his stats to a window where he did a shit job

Yes he joined 3 days before the start of the season after Lopetegui quit.

Definitely the right approach re supporting the manager and protesting re those running us.

Yeah, that's what I was getting at. Us protesting about the board and the Wednesday fans protesting about their owner.

He'll do alright to start with but his relentless micromanagement of every singke aspect eventually takes its toll on the players.

First season he turned things around and had us scoring goals and seemed to be paying close attention to lots of small tactical details.

Second season we would get walked through at will in midfield and defence. And his set piece defending was the worst in the league. Eventually his constant tinkering with minor tactical details left us with no real playing identity or mentality to deal with bad situations. That rubbed off on the players and discipline was an all time low.

He also never takes responsibility for poor results or bad behaviour. Then he said that he couldn't get results with the players he had, proved wrong as soon as Pereira came in. He left Wolves with a very bad taste in the mouth.

TL:DR - Will do alright to start with and loves taking credit, but lacks a team identity and will shirk responsibility when things inevitably go south.

Should fit right in with the hierarchy then

Leaked by the club to the press to hurry along the Rohl situation.

There's been zero leaks for months, then just when the Rohl deal is stalling, all of a sudden interviews with Wilder and O'Neil hits the press?

Think today's 'story' is a bit of a click-bait / smokescreen, or both.

They were interviewing in London on Friday. Hopefully means we might see some movement soon.

Us monitoring Rohl…

”is that Rohl lad still at Sheff Wednesday?”

”yeah”

”still got that £600k release clause?”

”yeah”

”wow, he’s going to be a snip for someone isn’t it… announce O’Neil”

I know you are posting with a comedic face on it, but when you drill down and look at it seriously it really is sad that the club can't cough up 600k. Its less than Coady's wages if he's finally binned off to Rangers.

Surely with entering in to a new PSR accounting period we are free to spend a relatively small amount, to pay Sheffield.

Also how is the situation "complicated" according to some media plebs?  He has a well documented release clause, we trigger it buy offering to pay the amount,  it then free's him to be interviewed,  we hire him and pay the release clause amount or move on to other targets if he stinks in the interview.

Or am I missing something here?

Rohl not out of it according to BBC RL, confirms Wilder has been interviewed:

Wonder if they're trying to put pressure on Sheff Weds/Rohl by leaking this? ****ing hope so.

Apologies for not running with the usual doom-mongering mindset but is it out of the question that we're interviewing as a contingency for the Rohl situation not being resolved by X date?

Why can't we just get Chrissy P in to work with King until the Rohl situation is sorted

Sounds almost identical to Rodgers.

This would only apply to a collective of people with an IQ of greater than 85.

Interesting people acting like Rohl would be kicking the door in to come to the KP.
After the horror show that is/was Wednesday, he might rightly be taking a beat.
