Issue is, I'm very much that bracket (early 30s), started going to FNF in the late 90s but my earliest LCFC memories are of the end of Filbert Street, old folks around me decrying how shit Akinbiyi was and Dad warning me we might not have a club to follow anymore. Growing up, I only truly tuned into the state of LCFC the season we dropped to League One. So I guess I have seen the past two 'lowest ebbs', and have strong memories of the latter.

That team that went down to the 3rd tier was appalling in an entirely different way, but I never came out of games thinking the likes of Hume or Kisnorbo didn't give a shit. Given the difference in level, it's hard to argue this is a technically worse team, but by god it is my least favourite group of players I've ever seen representing our city.

Even when we've been bad before, I've still felt that connection to the team and club. That's vital, and KPFC have systematically eroded that over multiple years. It's unrecognisable and certainly not something to ignite passion in anybody, whether that's the old guard, those of us who grew up through the mad past 25 years, or kids being introduced to it today. I don't blame anyone my age who is ready to pack it in.

Excellent post, I’ve done 44 years, as you say even the likes of those players that went down to league 1 tried.
This current lot are by far the worst I’ve seen in my time as a fan, the other night it was only Luke Thomas giving 100%.

80% are strolling around like they are in their notice period, and to be frank, I can’t wait for them all to get gone, some of them need shoving out of the exits.

I have absolutely no intention of going to games or buying memberships while the current ownership continues to employ Rudkin and allows deals to be extended to the frauds.

I’ve renewed. Hopefully we’ll drain the swamp, invest in some talent and promote youth. Get a new manager in and we’ll be around the playoffs most of the season, so yeah, looking forward to next season. Be nice to be competitive for once.

Waiting to see what does or does not happen in the close season. If Van Nistelrooy or, more concerning, Russell Martin are at the wheel then no way am I renewing.

Hospitality Ticket mate. They've not sent out renewal dates or prices yet.

What I’m thinking if you don’t renew & someone else gets the ticket then your prays are answered in the summer when the swamp incl Rudkin is drained, we get promoted with a hungry set of lads and there looks to be direction again through a new DoF then you try to get a ST again but you’ve lost out are you justified to then start whinging that you can’t get a ST because the plastics that only started supporting in 2025 due to 25/26 -27 success have taken the allocation and your having to build up points again despite stating you’ve followed City since ‘x’ and that it’s not fair?

Them’s the 🎲 I guess 🤷‍♂️ choose wisely.

Yes. Very reluctantly because of being on direct debit auto renewal and the early deadline date.

I'll maybe go to the Liverpool game and Ipswich game this season. The latter will be decided on whether it could be vardy's last game or not.

Ideally I'd have waited to see if there was genuine change at board level, management level and player level with a forward thinking strategy. All fantasy land stuff with these clowns.

Next season will be my last if there's not significant change and progress to build for the long term. Up until tomorrow's game, I've missed 3 home games since the move to the KP. Tomorrow will be the first without a reason. I will likely miss some next season too and not let it rule my life.

Mad that people have attended all the games this season (obviously your choice), waste of a weekend.

Well that’s the thing it’s a gamble on which way the coin drops, remember 2014/15 & then the following year.

And thats exactly what the club are gambling on, the only fear keeping you giving up your £500-£700 a year season ticket, is that we might become good again in x number of years.

Home games are dreadful and have been for a number of years now.

Away games, you can pick up 80% of the tickets you want pretty easily IMO.

Under the current leadership, 1 season in the Championship and I think it won't be too difficult to get a ST again, they'll be loads dropping off.

Yep for sure the club is gambling on this but I guess it needs to for set revenue if we all fall off they (we) will be in an even worse place financially despite it being small sums compared to other teams.

But just want to make sure holders don’t make knee jerk reactions just off this embarrassing season & a view of nothing will change because it just might.

+ everyone of us said how much we enjoyed the championship season 👍

Although on the + side it might allow those that have been knocking the support this season but unable to get a ST to get on board and make as much noise in the stadium as they do on here so win win there I guess also 👍

If there was going to be change at the club Top should have started it a couple of months ago. There is talk of a new manager but that’s just papering over the cracks a mass clean out should have been done. So going next season not on the cards for me

They'll soon be sitting there in disgruntled silence like all of us!

It's the performances that make fans sing, and creating chances and putting tackles in etc etc..The things we don't see

For sure they are blinkered & certainly don’t seem to have an ability to read a room.

There seems to be an unwritten rule that we should not defend, compete in midfield or score. It is the same every game. This is not entertainment. I remember going to Arsenal at home in the championship winning season..we got mullered but I came away and thought what a game. Now it is just urghhhh. I have no idea what will happen in the summer but it is not going to beast to ship out players like Franco Baresi (Faes) and Vesty. Who is going to pay for them and who is going to match their wages? We will have to sacrifice Vardy (wages) but at least Ward will be gone and his wages and Edouard who I am sure does not exist! Changes need to happen and there can be no excuse this preseason.

Option was taken out of my hands after 30 plus years as a ST holder.Moved up to the NE and came back for the Brentford game....that's probably the last time I'll go to the KP. Probably go to Sunderland,Middlesbrough,Hartlepool in the next few seasons!
