The only way RVN could be any worse would be if he played Ward every week.

It's entirely possible he would do, except Ward robbed him of that chance by  begging not to be considered for selection (tho still collect his 40k a week for bib & cone carrying, like last season)

Correct.

Even though he's like a rusty rifle. Useless and can't be fired.

He's not the one picking the team, setting the tactics or insisting on playing the same crap formation and being clueless regarding in-game changes.

No but he's the one putting the dud bullets in the magazine that doesn't fire.

Has to be Ruud, we can just sack him after we lose the first 10. Can't see us ever binning Rudkin so I'll take any opportunity to do it.

Ruud is doing more immediate damage, whether people like that or not.

If we recruit the right manager we can be more succesful with Rudkin. RVN just isn't a good coach.

Rudkin doesn't even need to go, I don't really think he particularly does what we need a DOF. He could be shuffled sideways somewhere else in the business with his job title tweaked, which is what I think will happen.

We just need to modernise and split our manager role properly in two, hire a real Dof and a competent head coach.

I agree with all of this.

We looked as though we had a decent chance of staying up under Maresca if he'd stayed and we'd had a decent summer. Yes, we were fragile. But decent transfer business to toughen us up a bit and a bit of stability would have given us a fighting chance.

If Rudkin ends up doing a Klopp-style role overseeing both King Power owned clubs, we get a competent DoF and someone like Danny Röhl in for the summer and you could see us beginning to recover.

Ruud. Rudkin is a long term problem, if he's here at the beginning of next season, he's probably here for the next 5 seasons. If Ruud is here for the next season, it's only a handful of bad results before he's gone.

Although Ruud's not doing him self any favours with picking the same side every week.....i'm not sure what else he can do....play some of the youth in a toxic enviroment, switch the formation......He's been lied to on the amount of money we had to give him in January and this is the result.

Doesn't change the fact he's a incompetent manager.

Completely agree on that! But you dont turn down £50,000 a week or whatever he's on to not try to get our useless players to at least score a goal. The rot in the club goes far deeper for me.

I’d say Rudkin has to stay even though it pains and would be a terrible decision in the long run but Ruud as much I did want him to do well I’m shocked at how inept he actually is by continuing with bizarre decisions and sticking with a losing formula.

As if there are 34% of voters that just don’t get it!!!!

Everyone understands Rudkin can't continue as Director of Football. We all know that.

But Ruud is a hopeless coach and the players aren't playing for him at all. If be stayed we'd be a disaster next year too.

Where has Kasey McAteer been for the last few games?

Remember that Rudkin vetoed a hefty transfer in January.

He's held our club back far more than RVN.

That's why he needs to be the first person to be bombed out!

Agree on Ruud, but Rudkin needs to be the first out of the door. Mistake after mistake. Has cost us absolute millions with many inept decisions

I'm not sure Ruud is a hopeless coach.....it's just everything around him is useless!

I voted Rudkin as was taking and didn't read it properly.

I thought we was voting for who we wanted gone.

The players won't play for anyone because they don't have it in them to play football to a good enough level. We've seen the likes of Faes, Soumare, Kristiansen etc under multiple managers now and they haven't cut it.

If we get rid of Ruud and keep Rudkin we just sign more dead wood in the summer and bring in another awful manager. Rudkin has to be first out the door.

It's amazing we are having this chat.

Has Top never sat down with Welan and Rudkin and demanded to know where all the money has gone.

Champions league money Mahrez maguire 250m from Chelsea and he's still written off 200m plus.

Business man he must be the bookies dream at the races.

He's not got a fvckin clue and trusts a pair of idiots.

Add another 70m for mads and Barnes.

It's  Top we need out first. The new owner might keep Rudkin on as a shit house cleaner if he's lucky.

Aiyawatt and Rudkin struck lucky when Rodgers needed a move back to England and saw us as the best option at that time.

But they persisted with him for far too long, even after it was clear we were going backwards under him and he was desperate to move on.

RVN is just the latest in a long line of bad managerial appointments.

Something MUST be done to bring this cycle to an end.

Hence the need to move Rudkin out first..

I read the question wrong and messed up the poll.
But… the answer is obviously ruud, because it ruud is still here, he will be gone after 6 games… Rudkin may never leave
