Southampton are desperate for a point, to avoid sharing Derby's record. They know we can't score. 

 

I think they'll sit in, play for a point and hope to knick goals on the counter/set pieces.

It'd be the absolute clearest indicator that he wants to be sacked and is calling the board out to be fair.

 

If he does play Ward I expect the team to down tools and us to get annihilated.

Given that we're already the record breakers the situation can't get worse. At least if Saints win it increases the chance we'll be bottom, receive even less cash and have our worst ever season confirmed which is what this season deserves.

Am I right in saying Winks is back in contention now and that his issues with Ruud have been ironed out?

I'd play this;  no place in the matchday squad for Hermansen, Faes, Vestergaard, Justin, Winks, Soumare, Buonanotte, Kristiansen, Daka, Ayew, Bobby DR. A total waste of time playing any of them as they aren't going to be involved next year in all likelihood, and there's no sentiment in playing them (which i'd argue there is for Ndidi and Vardy both of whom who have been great servants).  Who wants to see them clapping their way round the king power before doing the off in the summer. I'd argue no one. 

Treat it like an FA Cup game where we want to go for it but also want to blood youngsters.
