40 quid for a training top, state of modern football.

£75 for tacky looking umbrella is even worse. Could even undersell the framed & signed Danny Ward shirts from the other year.

Yes the DW shirt and enclosed photograph can double up as a dart board too

Lots of Adidas clubs getting incredibly smart trefoil logo kits and we’ll be saddled with generic template D again.

Even when we were CL chasing we had bland Adidas kits - incredibly dull people behind the scenes with zero drive to do anything differently.

Leicester never got structured as an Adidas elite club (or local elite) so wasn't going to get the nicer stuff unfortunately.

Total sales didn't justify the extra items from Adidas, and after the whole JD sports issue Leicester had last years shirts didn't even make it to the Adidas website.

The programme subscription at the top works out to £5.60 per programme, who is actually paying that

£5.65 including post and packaging and meaning you don't have to go to games seems a bargain to me

All of the above points at crap executives - especially those with retail backgrounds

I still find it bizarre how you can’t get a Leicester shirt anywhere in Leicester other than from the club. More than a dozen other clubs shirts in Sports Direct at Fosse Park. Is it simply because the demand isn’t there?

It's a vicious circle as leeds generally sell twice the amount of shirts to Leicester for example, so are local elite. So they get some of the nice stuff, but its only sold in certain countries and areas. It's not just the guys at Leicester making the decisions, its the demand for it overall for Leicester stock.

Leicester just dont sell enough stock overall for Adidas to do more.

You could always go to a smaller brand for kits and maybe get different stuff, but it would be on a lower deal than adidas overall still.

You’d have to expect this is the case, but at the same time, you’d have to level a good portion of the blame at the way the club position and market themselves.

The funny thing is that since the title win, we’ve spent a good number of years as one of the more recognisable clubs in the world (outside of your usual suspects). Another opportunity wasted.

We don’t seem to care about merchandising ourselves which, like it or not, you need to do in modern football to increase profile and revenue streams. Pretty sure one of the reasons we resigned with Adidas was because the club felt the brand was more ‘prestigious’, which is the wrong idea. You’re just hoping to be cool by association when every other kit deal is Adidas. You aren’t special. Who cares?

Should’ve taken the chance to go and be a face of one of the challenger brands (maybe not Castore). Not being able to get into Sports Direct, when you see some of the tat they stock that can’t be being bought by anybody, is farcical marketing.
