By choosing to finish his City career this Sunday, it means that Vardy will miss their final game of the season at Bournemouth.

Van Nistelrooy was asked about this decision

Is this on tv on Sunday? I know it’s got nothing on it to play for but would be a fun game to put on just for Vardy

I would  happily pay to watch  his final game.  He has done so  much for the club  over the years

Would you have happily paid to watch any of his other games over the past 13 years?

Nothing to play for?! It's financially worth more than winning the FA Cup.

As in no one outside of Leicester or Ipswich care because we have been relegated for 6 months already

I mean it's definitely not to a side that hasn't qualified for Europe

Stola

Justin Okoli Coady Thomas

Skipp Ndidi

Facundo Canoe Ayew

bring on Monga and Jake Evans at some point. Maybe Soumare who did well v a tiring Forest.

pretty sure Mavididi and Ricardo arent fit.

Had a good season back in the EPL ?     Thinking somehow it's been about as good as ours.      No fun stuck around the relegation places since August until now, we know all about it.

Tomorrow isn't about who gets 18th place, it's all to do with the Vardy player and making a last appearance.     Yeah he's done great up there, been a real asset to your team and can join in with a list of existing LCFC legends, his contribution must be immense and deserves the focus of tomorrows game.

Both teams are relegated, we've been down long before it were confirmed and it's been a long hard crap season for both.     After the automatic promotions of last season you would have imagined a better nine months to look back on but it's just too difficult for clubs like us to compete at the top level now.        Don't know about you but a majority of Town fans want to be back in the Championship rather than playing at the top level.      Perhaps Foxes support feels similar, it just hasn't been no enjoyment and have to accept second division is now more suited.

I hope Vardy has the send off he deserves but try not to score against us yeah.        It's just a shame the occasion isn't more fitting than just two relegated teams after a shit season fighting over 18th position.       Hope for a fair game with minimal ref intervention, let the best team win it really.

He’s on 199 goals for us. He damn well needs to score and if it hasn’t happened towards the end of the game, your team have a duty to give us a pen and your keeper to just stand and make no effort to save it ;)

The first game I'll miss in quite a while. Playing in a Charity Golf event instead.

I've every confidence he'll score today and we'll go on to win the game. I think Delap is the only one we need to worry about.

Enjoy the final home game lads.

Van Nistelrooy was asked if he could benefit from having Vardy available for that final game of the season at Bournemouth

Why is he not playing next week? Is he not taking his wages for the week? Before anyone has a go I am a massive of his. Unless he is carrying an injury surely he should be playing.

Yes agree with most of that, but let’s not say that the likes of Brentford, Bournemouth and Brighton are clubs more deserving to be locked in with the elite. 80% of the foootball league are as big or much bigger, not better run or backed though.PSR has ruined the game and nullified any more rich owners breaking in. It’ll be interesting to see how Wrexham and Brum do next year but their backing will not be enough to survive if they go up.

After 13 years, winning the league and FA Cup, if he wants his final game at home and finish on 500 games then he's earnt that.

Surely you can understand why he wants to end his career at home? It’s not rocket science mate. What’s he gonna do? Keep us up next week? 😂😂

Also, more fans deserve to see his final game too, not just a paltry 2000 in Bournemouth.
