Has that always been the case? I can’t think now. When we were in the final that was obviously the main concern. I suppose we shouldn’t moan as it is probably a good thing that the cup final is giving the prestige of being the only big game that day (not wanting to play down Wimbledon v Notts @spacemunky ) but yeah not having PL games taking the attention. That said, I can’t see Leicester or Ipswich fans really giving a damn about Palace v Man City. To be fair, the only FA cup final I have watched in a good 10 years was ours though. Last one apart from that was probably Wigan winning it. Probably due to the rich clubs just being so boring to watch. I would sooner watch EFL playoffs anyway! 1
