Rangers forum awash with Conor Coady rumours...

We will be forever in their debt if they save us from Russell Martin and take Coady from us!

What’s his remaining book value? £2.5m or so?

Doubt they’d match his salary but maybe a 3 year contract would be enough to tempt him.

I hope he goes to Birmingham tbh. 24 games this season 0 goals 0 assists.

8m for that is outrageous

-Birmingham have made an enquiry to bring Gray back
- Sunderland hold historical interest from January
- Fiorentina have asked about a loanlol

The size of rangers would tempt someone like coady. Seems like he’d actually be one that would prefer a good opportunity over a well paid one imo.

And surely we have to be rid of him solely due to salary you'd think? He is probably the CB you'd like to keep if we are to develop Nelson. However, he's aging and on an absolute kings ransom so if there's genuine interest we have to actively try and offload IMO.

Coady wouldn’t have signed in the championship if his wage was too low. Both him and winks aren’t unexpected big drops, they arrived on those terms. They will both be on decent wedge

Rangers is only ever a good opportunity if they pay you a fortunelol

Another dodgy Forest deal on the way….

Matt Turner for €8m to Lyon following season long loan with just one appearance at Palace…..

The authorities need to look at this group deals. It’s essentially money laundering

After they sold Mangala and Niakhaté also to Lyon, for £50m the summer before.
They’re not even trying to hide it

Swansea have signed Burgess from Ipswich. Interesting move considering he started 16 times I think for Ipswich in the Prem last season.

Good business from them.

We won’t be signing a centre back until plenty have gone. We are stagent, we keep players for too long, rely on same players that fail year in, year out. It holds us back so much.

Its 2025 hamza, vesty, daka should be long gone.

Yeah I think you're right. Based on all the managerial uncertainty and the radio silence from the club, we were never going to get out business done early. Players on free transfers are unlikely to want to wait around for us to get get our ducks in a row post-1st July.

This is absolutely the case, but defies all logic again from the Board. With manager / points uncertainty, and relegated 3 months ago, we should have cleared out a good number of players now… there’s no manager to kick off that you’ve sold his favourite and we finally get rid of enough players to give the manager some funds and squad places to sculpt his own team (alongside scouting recruitment dept).

Our laziness / lack of activity is so frustrating, we operate like a council

Kyogo to Birmingham is unreal for them. With the momentum they have a couple of good signings and I think they will be going up. And kyogo is certainly excellent for this level and Davies knows him well

30 years old, poor time at Rennes - it's an expensive gamble. I wouldn't want us to sign him.

You wouldn’t take him here?  I’d have been delighted to bring him in for this campaign.

if they sign him on a 3 year deal he’ll be gone by the time he’s ayews age 😆

Could be a good signing for Brum, but reading he’s been putting off shoulder surgery that would keep him out for 4months. Will need that at some point. If we signed him, it would be needed the minute he stepped out the car at Seagrave!

Think it has been mentioned on this thread about dodgy deals between Lyon and forest. Great to see loan get relegated for financial problems. Hope

this impacts forest in some way loops hole.

Probably wouldn't celebrate it too much.. if KP go bump we could do the same, or drop out of the EFL altogether.
