Seems like he’d actually be one that would prefer a good opportunity over a well paid one imo.

He is probably the CB you'd like to keep if we are to develop Nelson. However, he's aging and on an absolute kings ransom so if there's genuine interest we have to actively try and offload IMO. 1

Based on all the managerial uncertainty and the radio silence from the club, we were never going to get out business done early. Players on free transfers are unlikely to want to wait around for us to get get our ducks in a row post-1st July.

With manager / points uncertainty, and relegated 3 months ago, we should have cleared out a good number of players now… there’s no manager to kick off that you’ve sold his favourite and we finally get rid of enough players to give the manager some funds and squad places to sculpt his own team (alongside scouting recruitment dept). Our laziness / lack of activity is so frustrating, we operate like a council 2
