The money that forest seem to be getting for Elenga really shows how bad we have been at selling players. I know they have not been relegated and are at the top of there curve but looking like they will get a lot more than we did for barnes and Maddison

It doesn't say he's off to Lens. It says there's no agreement in place and there's an interested Champ side.

I would hazard a guess the Championship side is Southampton, with Will Still having moved from Lens to Saints.

More fool Newcastle if they pay that! Never worth more than half what is quoted. He didn’t even score/assist much so massively overrated due to Forest performing well above themselves.

Same situation we would have got a lot more for our 2 but relegation and contract years left blew that out the water.

As you say they are top of their curve and he still has 3yrs left on current contract, they can ask the earth for him and someone will be dumb enough to pay.
I don’t see him pushing anywhere near that figure this time next year as I don’t see Forest having a good season.

Birmingham are gonna be splashing a ton on wages. Interested to see how they get on

They are going for it, playoffs minimum for them, but I think on paper atm, we have a better first team.

By a long stretch. Not sure 1 player gets in our starting line up. Patson daka even eclipses jay stansfield. Fair play to them tho

Stansfield would be our striker comfortably. Daka has fell apart and just don't see anyone rescuing him here.

I always think stansfield is rubbish (yes I know patson lol). Looked well out of his depth in under 21s

Birmingham's biggest weakness might be their manager. Just not having him at all but I maybe massively unfair/wrong on him.

111pts last season?

Would Daka have bettered 19 goals last season in League One?

He got the equivalent of 16 for the season (20apps 7 goals) last time in the Championship, so yeah, he probably would.

Hahahaha don't think so. Stansfield actually knows how to kick a football without falling over it

I don’t have a clue about daka anymore but on a good day he is certainly better than stansfield. Problem is those good days haven’t been seen very often with us

can’t be easy having the pressure of vardy hovering over you at all times though. Who knows if he can hit a new level as the main man

With that squad i don't think that's as impressive as it obviously ought to be. Time will tell, as I say i'm probably being unfair but he came across as bang average as a coach here IMO.
