Non-league is great. Cheap, good atmosphere, grounds with character and fans treated as if they matter - precisely because they actually do at that level. Away days are harder (I doubt very much I'll be going to Truro v Boston for example) but I'll admit I'm quite looking forward to seeing Carlisle, Hartlepool et al come to the Jakemans next season.

Starting ground hopping next season with a mate.

Local around Norfolk to begin with and around Leicestershire when visiting home.

Hopefully a few random European grounds thrown in, cannot wait!

We still be following the City like I've done since 1989, we have had shit time before.

True, David Pleat was terrible.

Looking forward to a few decent awaydays in the championship, praying we never see the likes of VK, WF, BS in the shirt ever again and we rip it all up and play those kids.

But I guess that's asking to much.

Maybe it's an age thing, but I'm certainly learning to not get quite so attached and let it ruin my mood and weekends. It's not the be all and end all like it once felt.

I’m going to enjoy taking a break from it. I think the corporatisation of football has been the biggest factor. Football is more like F1. Less of sport and more about resources. I also hate the new breed of manager implementing their ‘philosophies’ no matter what the results. It’s the cult individualism on steroids in what was once a team game. PSR is awful too - punishing smaller ambitious clubs and protecting the richest. Forced digital ticking systems was the last straw for me.
Going to enjoy not travelling up and down to games from London and aligning my life more with family and fitness. My match days weren’t the best re: my health and longevity!

Watching Truro City in the National League, 20 minute drive from Newquay, had 2 season tickets at LCFC for me & my lads until 2022, when I had 2 knee replacements and the club wouldn’t let me defer them until the 23/24 season so I cancelled them after more than 20 years, I though the club was bad then but what is going on now is unbelievable…

Gonna stick with it for a few months. If things don't drastically change then I'll just focus on things I enjoy. Mates, gym, whatever really. I've probably enjoyed about 2 hours of this season. Ridiculous really.

Will probably still be going to a handful of home games at the KP (four or so) when up from Devon visiting the folk in Northants as per usual and maybe nick a south coast away day ie Saints away but will be hoping the football this time is less dreadful and prices more affordable. Paying £55 for KP games last season was a joke (regardless of what was served up), at least compared to the £40 I was when we were in the Championship the season before. VAR has it's uses but I'll also not be missing that! As for how we do next time around then I feel the only way is up - but hopefully not (further) down after PSR breaches and yet another points deduction threat!

Followed Leicester since 1979, was called a yo-yo club and still applies today

I’ve renewed as I know better times will be ahead at some point

Part of me feels exactly the same as this. The difference though is the game in 80s was purer from a sporting perspective. Nottingham Forest getting promoted and winning the European Cup twice being the prime example. It couldn’t happen today. We got the closest to it in an absolute freak season. No one else will IMO. Especially with petro state backed clubs entering the game.

I've renewed. Or rather, they renewed for me. I'm sure I would have done anyway.

Planning to switch off from football for a couple of months, enjoy the cricket (we've got a bloody good side this year, for anyone not keeping track) and hopefully the football club have miraculously decided to start behaving like one over the summer.

Plenty of good away days to get excited about next season.

I like the idea of non-league but have struggled to 'pick' a side- feels a bit of an unnatural process.

Season ticket renewed though i’ll probably ditch the away days and watch a few more AFC Hinckley games. I just want the club to recognise it’s failings but then actually do something about. Biggest fear is they won’t and we end up like Stoke meandering around the lower reaches of the championship.

I think you can care still, just not to the point it effects your life or mental health.

As I get older I've found the best thing is to let it go a little.

You’re completely right, it’s got to a point I don’t really feel anything about the relegation, what’s the point in wasting my mental health worrying about the nepobaby owner and his crew, neither them or the players give a toss so it’s not worth worrying about. Will still be supporting the club but I’m very much in the “I told you so” frame of mind towards the ownership.

With that said though, as a fanbase we do need to hold these charlatans to account before they destroy the club completely

Wait and see what happens in the next 6/8 weeks, in terms of changes at board level, management and players.

Ive renewed my ST and honestly not expecting much to change.

This season (not because of being shit) I’ve lost interest for the first time in 25+ years. I think it’s football in general though, too many games, VAR and poor standard of reffing….its just a build up of a lot of Meh!
