of course western democracies are also responsible for human rights abuses but we have systems in place to call them out and hold people accountable. (If they’re used) 

And don't forget the slick PR teams to ensure that a lot of people don't even believe some of those abuses have even occurred. Terrible things are no less terrible simply because a plurality of people happened to vote for government that does them. 

 

IMO the only reason the UN is flawed in terms of its structure is because it lacks the enforcing teeth to be able to deal with the bigger national players.

The prospect of a ceasefire between Israel and Palestine is very welcomed news. I hope it holds and it allows the people of Israel and Gaza to get rid of their murderous, sick, twisted governments.

I don’t know what the answer is. If social services take them and rehome them, they are probably too far gone anyway. Parents should be locked up.

How are 6 year old taking knives to School?

How are parents letting this happen and more worryingly how are 6 year olds thinking its okay to take knives to school? Surely its abit of upbringing issues?

Yeah, the Indian flag is supporting India. However it’s not the Hindu flag is it ? It’s the India flag, supporting India. If I held up a Saudi/Uae/qatar or Palestinian  flag - it wouldn’t be a Muslim flag, it would be supporting those nations.

He’s saying there’s a difference between the religion and ethnic background of Jews and the country of Isreal and the government of that country. Just like there’s a difference between the religion and ethnic background of Punjabs or Hindus and the country of India and the government of that country. And that you can support one and not the other.
