Reform voters are too far gone. Beyond any reasoning.

I have one in the family. Have no real explanation as to why they "HATE STARMER" yet they do.

Starmer is irritating, incompetent, and has completely blown a huge majority like no one in history* but despite that thinks he should continue to lead the country, presumably straight into the hands of Nigel Farage.  Many people find that intensely annoying, if not hateful, not just Reform voters.

*since Boris anyway.

Not necessarily, if they’ve looked for a stab wound and haven’t been able to find one, it’s a difficult one to quantify…. It’s more down to incompetence than anything sinister in my opinion.

This is why in my opinion they need to release entire clips of footage, not just a small snippet because it creates a completely different story.

The officers have definitely failed in their duty of care, because they should have called for an ambulance immediately, that may have been the only way to tell he had been stabbed, as sometimes stab wounds to the torso don’t always bleed and look obvious.

Unless we know the full story, rather than snippets it’s very difficult to make a fully informed conclusion.

I’m not saying that these officers haven’t neglected their duty, because they have, but it may not be a clear as the information we have suggests.

Is it necessarily criminal? It’s gross misconduct because it’s a failure to uphold the very path police officers swear, but is it necessarily criminal to essentially be crap at your job?

There’s so many variables that we aren’t privy too, as we saw in the case of Chris Kabba, different scenario but in terms of information being shared with the public, it suddenly paints a completely different picture…..

The incident looked horrifying, and when you say a young man who’s been stabbed has been handcuffed laying on the floor saying he’s been stabbed…..

But how many times do we think police officers go to incidents, where people are drunk, or drugged in claiming to be stabbed and they haven’t? Potentially these officers have been to many incidents like this, and have unfortunately slipped into a complacent approach…..

Essentially what I’m trying to say, is there’s more to the bigger picture of decision making than we’re privy too.

It doesn’t make the situation less shocking, it just means that this incident if more officer incompetence more than two tier policing as alot of the far right are suggesting.

From what I saw there was clearly blood visible and their 1st reaction should have been to check and assist.

The fact they cuffed and said he was feigning injury is not only gross misconduct but inhumane.

They need to be punished

I think this is a clear case of double standards.

Farage calls for rage = disgrace

Dylan Thomas calls for rage = classic literature

It's just clear Cambrophobia.

I just want to make it absolutely clear, that in no way at all, did I just Google 'Cambrophobia'.

I didn't really think it through so it doesn't make sense as a response to Trav

I see on BBC that NHS trusts are making plans to ban staff from wearing political badges etc. To me this seems obvious. Why on earth would staff expect to be able to display their personal political views or support while on duty is beyond me.

I’ve always been fascinated by the way the left in this country allies itself with Islam.

Seen the latest uproar on Twitter is about Muslims in the West being told how to act during pride month.

Always seems like everyone is contradicting themselves

I don’t know maybe I’m just not clever enough to get it all

Imagine being that lads family members having to watch the footage of how he was "treated" by those officers. It put knots in my stomach watching it and I've never met the kid. To abandon your duty of care of anyone on the presumption of racism (from one person's say so) is deplorable and quite frankly they've failed that young man and his family

Even if he was being accused of having raped or murdered someone, they had a duty of care.

Because innocent until proved guilty.

This is why police shouldn't carry guns.

This is what I don't understand. Handcuffed for what? Guilt predetermined because? Genuinely heartbreaking to watch and makes me scared to have children in this country

There was evidence passed to them by their control room that a criminal offence had taken place and on arrival at the scene other witnesses confirmed that.  Where is the edence that this has anything to do with racism except through your blinkered lens. I don't disagree that this was poor policing but racism??,  I don't think so from what I saw (except perhaps on the part of the perpetrator).

No I didn't say the police were racist, I said they assumed Henry had been racist on the say so of Digwa and his family. They turned up to the scene and immediately handcuffed a young man who was on the floor clearly in distress based on what? Its not like he was even resisting arrest on the count of him being on the floor bleeding out. But the safe option for the officers is to arrest the white man on the say so of the Sikh men

To tell him "I don't think you have mate" when he's repeatedly telling them his been stabbed is gut wrenching

Other witnesses also confirmed to the officers that he'd been stabbed but they didn't seem as concerned about that little part

I feel this was pretty inevitable before they even won and probably would be whoever was PM, in fairness. The own goal was whoever at Labour HQ decided the campaign message in the last election should be that Labour would fix the economy at all let alone within weeks of them taking office.

They were getting in with a sizeable majority anyway because the country was just rightfully fed up of Boris and his cabinet of corrupt and incompetent Brexiteer yes-men that had ****ed the country on Leave and COVID.

Labour didn't need to and shouldn't have really said much other than "we're not them." But they made unrealistic promises to fix pretty much everything and gave the opposition all the ammunition they've needed for pretty much Starmer's whole term to date.

Not that I particularly think he's a sensational PM but I do think he'd have looked a lot better with much different expectations. The country is ****ed, it'll take generations to fix, nobody is doing it overnight.
