Todays Results - Saturday 9th August

League Two:

Tom Wilson-Brown (7.2 - 90 mins) - Swindon Town 3-2 Cambridge

Scottish Prem:

Henry Cartwright (6.1 - 23 mins) - Falkirk 1-3 Livingston

Good rating for TWB!

Let's hope he can keep in the starting 11.

I was hoping we'd get Bausor on loan but can't see us signing another keeper to do that.

You'd think Silko Thomas, Wanya Marcal and hopefully Michael Golding will be going out soon

There is probably about 10 young players I think we need to be getting out on loan

Probably get 5 at most unfortunately

Is there a limit as to how many youngsters you can loan out?

I believe it is a limit of 6 players

However players under 21 are exempt

If they're club grown. So Golding and I believe Silko Thomas wouldn't be exempt

Love this passage of play lol proper footy

I went to Gillingham v Walsall yesterday and it's really sad how the gap between League 2 any even the championship has become so massive. Some decent players in there but they just cannot play and intricate football as a team. Mind you, Gillingham are absolutely cursed when it comes to scoring goals so could be that!

I saw Bradley dack scored, that was a blast from the past. Weirdly just merged him Ben brereton and smzodridcs into one player In my head.

the player that looks unreal at Blackburn but is ultimately shite player :P

Dack was quality. Was basically a done deal to Palace then did his ACL (I think) and absolutely destroyed by injuries since. Can't shed the pounds these days lol

Hopefully Cartwright will establish himself. Falkirk are sticking with the two holding midfielders from last season. They are lacking power and defensive presence though, so I think he will be a regular, unless they start winning.

Started at Celtic tonight and got subbed in the 2nd half when they were 2-0 down

If Braybrooke is as good as what people on here have hyped him to be, why isn't he starting? He is 21! we aren't talking about a 16/17yr oid, Rooney had completed a third of his career by 21

He looked pretty rough in pre season. He is talented but probably had his confidence knocked by his loan not going the way everyone wanted it to and his injury.

A good loan in league one or two would do him well, if he stayed and played i fear that we have a number of fans waiting in the wings to pounce on him when he has his first bad game for us, similar to what happened to Nelson.

After a successful loan Nelson is better positioned to ride the criticism whereas with Baybrooke you would run the risk of completely destroying his confidence.

I get that, when we have Monga at 16 doing the things he is doing in the first team he seems a different beast (albeit different position) maybe Braybrooke is not all that, time will tell.
