The problem with Sammy is that has basically struggled everywhere  he has played. He looks a bit weak for me and personally I would lose that alice band. How many seasons has he now been on loan and failed to look as though he is ready for a return. Sorry.

He has had 1 loan that lasted 4 months so far

Think you know what the poster is getting at.....

 

This is his 2nd loan following an ACL. 1st loan was cut short and this was his first game on this loan, and one of which he hasn't been with that team a long time. Poster trying to make out Sammy is some effeminate dosser whos made a living being out on loan his whole career.

Goals for Alves and Opoku. Braybrooke getting almost the full 90. Yes a defeat for the latter two but for them as individuals, not a bad day.

 

A new backup keeper through the door makes it a pretty decent day for Leicester :scarf:

League One:

 

Will Alves (7.2 + 1 goal - 34 mins) - Huddersfield Town 3-2 Peterborough United

 

League Two:

 

Sammy Braybrooke (6.2 - 86 mins)  - Newport County 2-3 Bristol Rovers

 

Nathan Opoku (7.3 + 1 goal + 1 assist - 26 mins) - Newport County 2-3 Bristol Rovers

 

Tom Wilson-Brown (6.7 + clean sheet - 61 mins) - Swindon Town 3-1 Barrow

 

Jayden Joseph (6.4 - 33 mins) - Tranmere Rovers 1-3 Salford City

I don't think he can play so well we'd regret it, we'd just recall him in January and play him, only way we'd regret it is if he got another serious injury

I know we really want him to be great but I don't think there is any way we will "regret" loaning him as he was never going to be a regular starter for us.

yeah I'm hoping he's done that, in fact I hope the last words Marti said to him were something like "go there and force me to bring you back and put you in the team"

Part of me thinks Sammy has been sent on a loan that will challenge him physically and improve the defensive side of his game. His ability on the ball isn’t a problem, he reads the game well, I think playing in a side that will test his weaker points isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
