Him and a few others shouldn't even be training with the first team never mind starting in the last pre-season friendly.

We should be making it uncomfortable for these dog shit high earners to really force them out. It's the only way.

Maybe, but the end goal is still promotion.

We're not blessed with excess transfer funds or room in our PSR limits to just go and sign replacement players and ostracize them like Man Utd.

So unfortunately we still need some of this dog shit to achieve our goal.

We need to support Cifuentes and Leicester and understand he's playing them out of necessity and not choice.

I see the same old manager comments coming out for our new manager, he needs to do an Amorin and try and get rid of them, but then we dont have the cash to buy new so he has to play the "dogshit". no ?

He has to try and get these players to play football, no-one wants them, so we are stuck with them unfortunately. So if he plays Soumare then thats up to him, maybe he is trying to get players like him to actually play football for him, if they can even do that!  Winks isnt happy either so its a no win situation fo us

It doesnt matter whos in charge for us, with -9 points, no cash injections and no new players then its a really really tough job for the new manager, we will see against Wednesday how he holds up.... we will see....

I get what you're saying, but it's a big squad - There is cover in pretty much all areas to allow us to be ruthless with some of these players.

If it was a bare bones squad, we'd have no choice, but that's not the case with us at the moment.

It just feels like we have to do more to move some of these players on, we're too nice.

May be an image of 2 people, people playing football, people playing American football and text that says "B B BBCSPORT B c SPORT MC KING POWER " The main thing for me is to see a team that is brave, a team that has the courage to attack from minute one.| spent some time at the stadium learning the history of the club, and want to replicate the fearless style that has become associated with the club. Marti Cifuentes When You're Smiling podcast"

I get that it's all part of the business and that he has to say something, but goodness me this is a load of old ****ing flannel.

I really want them to succeed. Not just for the good of the club, but because they seem like really nice blokes...

The positive I took from Sunday was it looked like the players were actually listening to the manager

The players warming up actually had smiles on their faces for once as well, didn't see that once last season

I would prefer a game face before the match. Concentrate on the job you’ve been given.

The laughs don’t come til you’ve won!!

Quite possibly, many players suffer loss of form and then confidence. What is also quite common is how fearless young players are and as they get older things effect them more. It's not a case of becoming battle hardened, more the ignorance of youth and not got the baggage of past failures.

I’m quite confident that Thomas and McAteer will both go on to be very solid Premier League players as they get into their mid to late 20s.

Look at lots of the players we won the league with and how their career’s didn’t take off until they got into their prime.

Meanwhile in contrast both of the main Rangers forums are approaching meltdown.

Early days north of the border but it’s safe to say the start has been massively lacklustre under RM and the fans have taken to it poorly.

Don't suppose if we'll ever know if we were truly interested in appointing Martin as most Media outlets reported. However, if we were and the club backed off following fan reaction then perhaps they did well to listen. We might've not had the previous two disastrous managers had they paid attention.

If only they had been listening to fans for the last 5 years 🤣 completely agree with you, some credit has to go to them if they did indeed go back on the deal because of fan backlash.

Maybe I phased that a bit wrong.

I meant 'nice' as in a constructive, player improvement, club building kind of way.

Rather than a destructive, ego driven, d!ckhead way.

Like Russell Martin.

Correct but giving me one example vs dozens of nasty successful ruthless bastards is hardly bingo.
