I don’t really get the idea that people aren’t going Preston because of last time. I’m going on Saturday and whatever happens, I’m not going to magically forget that night a couple seasons ago 😂

Birmingham take 7,000 to Blackburn and we can’t shift 3,000

Birmingham put their tickets on general sale for away games, we don't which doesn't help sales..

I'm only really going for a drink in the Station Hotel and The Black Horse. The latter is possibly my favourite pub in the whole country

The Old Vic's a better shout than The Station, I'd say. Black Horse is an all-timer though.

For anyone who bums micropubs The Guild Ale House and Winckley St Ale House are both decent gaffs between station and ground.

Birmingham put their away tickets on general sale and Blackburn give much more of a bigger allocation anyway.

Plus Birmingham's support seems to have shot up coinciding with their take over. Last time they were in the Championship they probably didn't even take 3000 to Blackburn.

Only an hour's drive for me and turns out I've got no plans. I'd go along, but the idea of paying for a membership I'm unlikely to need more than a couple of times, if at all, is stopping me buying a ticket.

spare membership here if it helps. not sure how that works with posting the tickets now...

Thanks very much for the offer, someone has come through with a spare to meet at the ground 👍

1400 on a midweek.

Their home support has always been about half ours. Abysmal fans. They were always getting about 12,000. *Okay just checked and they averaged 16,000 consistently for years. Congratulations.

I was debating going so i called the ticket office on Monday and asked when tickets were going off sale .  I was told categorically that they were going off sale at 12 noon on Friday!!

Im not bothered as decided not to go anyway.....mainly because i decided i dont want to spend over 100 quid on these mainly dislikeable prcks.  But its a bit crap i was told one thing and as you say, they are no longer on sale !

I can't understand why they take tickets "off sale" so early anyway?

What's wrong with keeping them on sale until at least COB the day before?   You've then got all the following morning to tell the other team, the handful or so tickets to collect at the ground.    Nothing seems to be done for the benefit of the fans ...

This is Preston's latest ticket news

https://www.pnefc.net/news/2025/august/14/match-pack-leicester-city-h/

Ticket Info

Tickets for this fixture will remain on sale right up until kick-off in-person from the ticket office, over the phone on 0344 856 1966 and online.

2025/26 season card holders should have received a digital pass to their registered email which can be used on entry at the turnstiles. Alternatively, physical season cards can be used.

In light of the situation at Morecambe Football Club, Morecambe 2025/26 season card holders are being invited to attend this fixture for free. A match ticket can be claimed by providing email confirmation of their season card, proof of purchase, or their physical season card.

Three points here from a proper football club:

1.  Tickets available online right up to kick off.

2.   Season tickets holders can have a digital pass or a physical card.

3.   Nice gesture to fans of a nearby football club in trouble.

This is a really nice gesture from Preston to Morecambe fans. Makes me think, perhaps we should've done similar for Cov fans when they were struggling financially and playing home games elsewhere 🤔😂

As always, we are a complete inconvenience to them.

Quick question does anyone know if you still get the actual ticket sent to you for the fox travel coach if you purchased a ticket 6 days ago. I got the match ticket for Preston today hoping the travel one comes tomorrow

You don’t get a ticket for the coach. It’ll just say on the letter with your match ticket. Just give your name when you get to whichever coach you are on and you’ll get on anyway 👍
