I don’t think we read into either squad too much.

 

I know people want to move players out, however I still think people need to realise that the squad we have, is very good for the Championship. 
 

We have a quality team.

The two game thing is a good way to get as many as possible to have close to 90 minutes on the same day then all have the same recovery time afterwards. Come next weekends friendly that may be the time we see selections for a reason and other than a few who joined late and will have had less minutes they arrive at the starting grid on par with each other. Having one match look at a 16-17 man core would not have achieved that. Having said that it would be good to see some partnerships and relationships develop, the 2 CB's, the 2 deeper midfielders, the understandings between full back and winger etc.
