What happens if you put your Season Ticket up for resale for the next match, and it actually gets resold?

Does the ticket get removed back out of your Wallet?

Or does it just stay there exactly as is, but is no longer valid?

Or does some status code change on it to clearly state "resold/not valid"?

The other day I hired a bike to the station, got a train to an event, gained access to the event and paid for everything at the event and did the same in reverse to get home - all using just my phone.

The only downside to the whole thing is that if my phone died, I lost it or someone took it I would be fckd. But then again I suppose you could say the same for a real wallet - as opposed to the virtual one.

I suppose the best thing would be to carry a wallet and a phone.   That way, if you lose one, you've still got the other.     And hopefully a wallet isn't going to die .........

Yes.  it's no longer valid. And it'll just disappear at the appropriate time.

yeah it will be a different one for each game but imagine now if you look at your ticket it will already have the next home game on there

I've had an electronic ST for three seasons, so I know that.  The QR code for my ticket for Brum has already changed at least once since it appeared in my wallet.

How can you tell? All QR codes look the same to me.
Do you take a screenshot and then look at it again a day or so later? I’ll give that a whirl.

I just wrote the number below it down,  screen shot will do it but you will need to turn NFC off to do it.

That's exactly what I did. I posted the example on the previous page, you can see that the code pattern and number are different.

the end of the day the only way you will know if it works is by trying it. Screenshot it today and try and get in with it next game. If it doesnt you still have your 'live' ticket so it wouldnt be an issue.

I am confident they would work or what would be the point in issuing it so earlier if it was just going to change?

As i have said before it worked for the whole of last season as we did it every week pretty much, i dont have a season ticket this year so cannot check it.

That is how dynamic QR codes work,  what sort of panic do you think fans would be in if they couldn't see their ticket until the day of the match?

yeah i get that, however the standard dynamic QR code have a moving QR code as in you can watch it move as it is 'live' these are not they are still static QR's - they are just changing.

When I went to Download Festival this year the QR code you used to enter has an animation on it that prevented you screenshotting the QR code or taking a picture of it to gain entry, I can almost guarantee the football one's will start to use this moving forward after this season

Any issues on Saturday? We couldn't go so no firsthand experience. Still haven't downloaded to wallets as we to a degree share the tickets and want to avoid if poss

I assume you mean the Sheff Wednesday game on the Sunday?  I got there 30 mins before kick off and there wasn’t any real queues, the club was actively promoting for people to get their earlier and people might have wanted to avoid the protest or it just wasn’t as bad as some of us thought it would be based on previous experiences

the Birmingham game could be different being a night game and people having less time due to work commitments or similar before the game to arrive at the stadium

Information I have heard is that there were more issues with cards than digital tickets which is amusing. 15 minutes before kick off queues seemed no longer or slower than previous seasons. Families with multiple tickets on one phone cause minor delays. There were less issues at Leicester than at some EPL clubs who had temporary melt downs not due to NFT but server issues and lack of clarity on changes. Birmingham will be a test as more arrive later at night games.

Not sure why it was amusing but the information you heard is partially correct, despite not being eligible for the cards some people was trying last seasons cards to see if they still worked, some were actually successful, most was not

Looking to pass my season ticket to a mates son for the brum game, the lad is only 10 so doesn't own a mobile phone, my mate is a season ticket holder also, do I just go on the website and select him from my linked accounts, send him the ticket, thus giving him my ticket to use for his son, as well as his own on the same mobile? Anybody in the know?

My understanding is that the lad will need their own account, and that ince you have transferred your ticket to that account, it can then be downloaded to your mates phone.

You can only forward to people that have an account and are on your friends list, but i think excluding ST holders.

Either your mates lad needs an account setting up,  you set up a 'friend' to forward to or send a screen shot of the qr code (some people can do this others can't).

We didn't make the first game so just sorting our mobile ST's out for Friday. Had to register the lads properly as they were on my account before but after a couple of issues I spoke to Ashely in the ticket office and he was really helpful TBF.  ****ing palaver overall but at least he was decent.

I spoke with him today also about digital tickets for my lad, he was helpful.

Can send multiple to the same email address, but the kids have to have their own supporter numbers.

You also cannot transfer an adults ticket to a different category (U22, U18, U12, U8) online I don't think, you have to ring the ticket office in order to do so. I tried it earlier this week and it just can't saying you can't downgrade an adults ticket to a less expensive category.
