Rumours that MBS is considering buying Barcelona.

I wonder if this has been on the cards for years. It would explain why they sold hundreds of millions of Euros worth of future income to pay the bills for about two seasons. They knew that it wouldn't eventually matter.

I don't know the FFP situation in Spain but the big two always get favourable treatment and I'd imagine La Liga will be motivated to look the other way if it helps their league to compete with the Premier League.

Real Madrid sold off 20% of the next 25 years of Bernabéu revenues for €360 million.  (To Sixth Street, who also own 25% of Barca's broadcasting income for a similar stretch.)

What's interesting is that the club INCLUDE the money going to Sixth Street in their income for compliance with Financial Sustainability Regulations.  Even though they never see a penny.  And the courts have seen fit to allow it.

Pafos FC Spanish manager Carcedo who brought such success to the club and they're doing quite good in Champions League is going to Spartak Moscow.

Well, this is a very strange decision. He also said he have chosen to move to Russia which is the best thing for his family.

He must really love his family.

Moscow is a beautiful city but isn't it strange a Spanish manager chooses to move there from Cyprus? Spartak isn't even playing in European competitions (like all Russian teams). Though I think all teams from Russia will return to the European competitions next season.

I don't think also it's a matter of money unless Spartak have offered him ridiculous contract?

I'm sure it is a lovely city, but i wouldn't want to be visiting it anytime soon.

Bayern win 8-1. Goal difference of +51 after 16 games (2 of those have been drawn). Kane averaging a goal every 63 minutes in the league. Madness.

Figured Kane probably had 4 or 5 when I saw the score.

Some Strasbourg fans not happy being underdog owners to Chelsea but other fans happy to ride with the success on the pitch although will that last with Gary O'Neal coming in.

Dual Ownership not all good.

Some Strasbourg supporters have never accepted BlueCo. The club's ultras stay silent for the first 15 minutes of every match in protest.

It reflects the opinion of a not-so-vocal minority. L'Equipe has reported, external how other supporters, attracted by the new signings and the team's style of play, have booed the ultras.

But for the ultras, Rosenior's move to Stamford Bridge reinforces their stance.

15 minutes, pfft, our fans have had a silent protest for 90 minutes every game.

Sacking Alonso is a bit ridiculous but you felt it was likely. Such a tough for a relatively new manager, despite what he did for Leverkusen. Always felt it was a bit soon.

Could see him waiting to see if Liverpool becomes available.
