Maybe Sweden haven’t been following English football too closely recently!

Didn’t he manage there before but then it’s a bit different managing the national team to a club side in Sweden ?

He managed Ostersunds for several seasons with some success, which then brought him to the attention of Swansea.  Not sure why Sweden would be interested after his recent sackings though.

After being saved by the authorities last year, Sampdoria seem determined to get relegated to the third tier anyway. Lost to little Virtus Entella who are from basically a suburb of Genoa and I believe have spent most of their history in Serie C.

Barca v Villarreal in Miami now off !

Won't be long before another one is proposed.  La liga's president is dead set on it happening.

Libertadores semi second legs over the next few days.

Just like the KP at Racing Club, HT 0-0 but 1-0 down on aggregate against Flamengo.

Other semi is LDU Quito v Palmeiras (3-0 agg). It'd be nice to have a final that isn't bloody Brazil heavy for a change, wish someone over here would pick up more than the final n all. Always worth a watch though

I can hear someone at the HSE having a heart attack from here just thinking about this at a British ground.

LDU's ground is high altitude so a bit of the Bolivian national team about it.

Still absolutely shambolic they couldn't see out a 3 goal head start ffs.

Flamengo down to 10 early doors but had no issues shutting up shop at Racing.

The final will probably be more entertaining with these two in there but Brazil-Brazil again is getting tedious
