He got a penalty against us in a play off final. Hated him for it. When he joined that changed and his will to win added to a bit of talent and he won me over. Horrible to play against.

👌 a front 3 of Speedie, Dickov and Vardy. That'd be a nice gentlemanly confrontation

A lot of people are not getting the bit that you have to rate the player not just dislike them.

Chilwell for checking out when he knew he was going to Chelsea but still collecting a pay cheque, being a bit of a wimp, scared to take a throw in, unnecessarily and overconfidently relishing the prospect of beating us and just being a bit too in love with himself.

Soyuncu for feigning injury at Spurs, being rightly dropped for it  and then sulking for the rest of the season as we struggled on to relegation with Calamity Amartey in his stead.  Various meltdowns, such as Bournemouth.

Mahrez for going on strike, badmouthing us and claiming that he lost two years to us as if he were being held in a cellar somewhere rather than being paid very handsomely to play football as per the terms of the contract the had signed and failing to recognise that we gave him the stage.

Perez for being Perez and the most frustrating player I ever saw and one that seemed to find it very difficult just to stay upright.  I've broken the rule myself here as I definitely never rated him.  That miss v Chelsea!  A weak link in a very good team who's greatest contribution was an accidental pre-assist in the cup final.

Perez again.  Deserves mentioning twice.

Chilwell, despite being very evidently left-footed, always struck me as having a remarkable ability to look like a right footed player asked to play left back. Never known a player struggle so much to see a pass.

Always had an engine and a decent left foot, but vision and attitude let him down.

Was very happy we managed a decent pay day out of him, to be honest. Average at best.

A personal one, Steve Howard, someone sat near me gave him some stick, it was the vital relegation game v Sheff Weds, they criticised his movement and shouted “Howard, you’re not fit”. To my surprise he came over and told ME to **** off. I hadn’t done anything :dunno:. I’d woken at 5 and travelled to pay hard earned money to watch that shower of s**t side capitulate and he’s pointing the finger at me! I never forgave him but begrudgingly accept he was an effective unit, did a good job for us in the next couple of years.

Robbie Savage, late 90's early 00's he was good for us. Soon as left us became a right *****, still remained good at both Birmingham and Blackburn but honestly can't stand the guy. I don't dislike him cause he left us after we were relegate, but how he is in general. I just think wherever he has been in his career he always leaves under a cloud. Birmingham he claimed he wanted to leave to be closer to his family due to his parents being ill, however the distance from is parents to Blackburn was not too different from the distance from Birmingham. Plus apparently there was nothing actually wrong with his parents, so some say. Blackburn fans seem pretty happy to see him leave for Derby. Plus Derby fans don't tend to speak of him highly other than he was paid a lot for nothing.

Yep - savage was and still is a complete idiot but boy did he work well with that Oneill team - specifically for 3 years with Lennon and izzet - wasn’t much of an actual footballer in the sense but his energy was terrific and he never stopped running - got us through many battles and let the other 2 play - izzet obviously the baller but Lennon could properly play as well for a scrapper

Demarai Gray, massive knob, massive attitude problem. But some player.

Considering he bounces from club to club like a hot potato, I'd say he is bang average at best. DG always thought he was better than he actually is and kicked off when he wasn't getting the game time. Petulance.

Could never beat a man, end product was questionable. We overpaid for this guy because he scored against us when playing for Birmingham.

Harry Kane is obviously a good footballer but I dislike him as much as any player. He was awful for us, incredibly lazy whilst our season was falling apart and then massively gave it the big’un when he came back with Spurs.

I always suspected he was massively influential in the England setup when none of our title winners could get in the team for some inexplicable reason whilst somehow Dier managed to be a starter. I don’t know how any Leicester fan can like him. Selfish player, overrated and treated like a golden boy despite going missing in big England games whilst Vardy, a better player (with a better chance conversion rate) couldn’t get a look in because he played for Leicester.

Maddison and Mahrez are the other ones who stick out.

Harry Kane is a good one, didn't look the part for us as did Vardy at the time. Of course his career as gone on to something special, amazing player as Kane is. He should have certainly won more than he has. I still don't think we have seen Kane at his best in a major tournament, even when he won the golden boot in the world cup in 2018 he was far from convincing. For me he should not be captain, his leadership skills is terrible and very poor speaker. Much better candidates in the dressing room who could be captain, Rice, Walker, Bellingham (sooner than later i think), even Henderson at his best should have been captain.

Seemed to be an anti Vardy attitude by other Spurs players for England. Deli Ali was blatantly obvious in his refusal to pass to Vardy when they played together. The times Vardy was in space and in easy passing distance, but Ali chose to turn away or turn it back till it went back to the keeper. The omission to make a pass to Vardy was noted by the commentator as it would have been the only clear pass on.

I definitely wouldn't go as far as saying I disliked him but like others have said I struggled to warm to Schmeichel in the way I did with most of those successful teams, not entirely sure why.

I don't think there are many players of ours good or bad that I've properly disliked, it would take a really sustained period of incredibly half-arsed performances combined with obvious off-pitch bellendry. I'd find it much easier to come up with players I had a soft spot for despite them being demonstrably not very good. I don't think I get as angry about football as a lot of people do and in a lot of cases it seems to be based on armchair psychology ("thinks he's better than he is" a classic of the genre) which is really tedious stuff.

Hindsight is a dangerous thing, and we can all admit he had an attitude problem. Probably the main reason.
