I'm not convinced by him but he's raw and a project with an unknown ceiling.

I'd sign him on the basis we were going to sign another striker as well but not at the expense of getting someone decent.

If Cifuentes is making the final decision and not Rudkin im all for it.

Like its been said he has an unknown ceiling but he absolutely knows where the net is and sometimes you cant teach that so deffo worth a punt.

If we no longer have Vardy on the books,  the savings on his wages alone would mean we could pay Kone’s   transfer fee in full this year..

Need to look in to Cifuentes previous clubs but QPR for example - the one area he seems to be suspect is his forwards scoring goals.

But isn't that because his forwards drop deep a fair bit?

I'm not sure. I don't think his style is any different to other teams who implement a high pressing and their forward is an all round modern striker who holds it up, can lay off and then attack the box to finish.

he makes a good point. Wycome need to be reasonable in their asks consdering he's a free agent next Summer.

They can't afford to be too greedy as a club their size can't afford an asset like this to walk on a free

The next Trevor Benjamin ?

alot of people said something like that about Vardy after his first season with us, wanted him shipped out etc, saying it was crap:whistle:

His best bits aren't particularly great and only managed 4 goals from open play this year, pretty sure Daka would outscore and look better at that level.

This calendar year do you mean? If so, others have pointed out that the change in manager did not suit him at all, and that he had injuries second half of the season. While Bloomfield was in charge he scored 16 goals I think it was.

we wouldn’t be picking Ayew ahead of Kone…. Would we!?!

If he couldn’t get in the team ahead of ayew then he’s clearly not good enough and would be a waste of 5m, especially considering he’d be available for free next year

We’re going to get goals from the wings this season. And I think Bilal (if he stays) is likely to chip in with a few too. I can see all three getting 10 goals at least each. That will reduce the need for a 9 to get 20+ themselves. I think Kone can press and bring others into play, and he’s likely to get 10+ goals too….. Cifuentes hasn’t been afforded the luxury of having some of the players we have, it’s hard to say that following last season, but already we’ve seen that the coachable players are taking to his style…… so he may have more luck with goals with this team, all of our attacking players have the ability to be aggressive in and out of possession, and we’ve got enough quality to get goals at this level.

Theres no way you can start Ayew as a striker this season. Has zero pace whatsoever to get behind. Would of thought he’d be used more in Bilals behind the striker role when/if hes sold
