It seems obvious to me that we’re in more financial hot water than any of us anticipated. This is self inflicted so I have no sympathy for the board or Top.

 

But it would be so much easier to cope with if they just came out and explained things to us. Even if it was a bit vague. Explain that this summer we do not to reset so there will be sales. But that the ambition is still there and that the club aim to be competitive in the market again by the summer of 2026. At least then we’d strap ourselves in for a long and arduous season whilst retaining some hope of better times ahead.

 

This willingness to sell anyone and replace them with no-one, whilst explaining nothing is just soul destroying.

 

I hate our club right now.

Our head of fan engagement is on £80k?!?!!!

That is shameful. 

 

No idea what the going rate is for that role but surely we are overpaying for the output??

 

I have no idea why I'm surprised

Yes, I know the recruitment agent that was running the role. That’s about £25k more than I was on in London for the same role for context! 
 

The role isn’t FE either it’s literally about selling widgets in Thailand / Anthony’s PA. And while she is entitled to it, currently on annual leave during a pretty crucial time for fan comms / issues to be sorted.

Fair enough, seems like I was wrong on the above/misinformed. At least in this area of the club.

 

I came up with an example comms, will you lot support me? Took me a while, formatting and all. And yes the logo is copyright, I don't want to see it anywhere else without royalties.

Not that you’d notice his absence from the lack of comms, but has anyone else noticed that he and the rest of the board haven’t been in the directors box for the last couple of games? Seems to have been Rudders all on his own, which is very strange. Have they just stopped bothering to attend or is something going on?

Herlinda has been there the last few games was there tonight. Can we get it right no one from the Board is there since Susan Whelan departed. Rudkin, herlihy et  al are not on the Board. The board now consists of Top his Brother and their mate Shi no one else.

If he had any semblance of ambition he'd have gone to a traditional top 6 side after we won the league. Or after the tragedy which is about the last thing he handled well.

The FAB is a disaster.  Hand picked members - picked by the club.  IT was never going to be able to demand answers to tough questions.  Prior to it being set up I met with Ian bason and urged the trust to walk away  - yet the board at the time wanted to keep on being cozy with the club.  Surely the folly of this is now clear  (- I think they said as much at the at AGM) - it is time for the trust to walk away from the FAB.  Anthony specialises in non engagement.

Probably stares at his own picture telling himself how great he is, when realistically all he does is a copy and paste job.
