Disagree. As I have said elsewhere, if we got to the stage Wednesday did  I.e players and manager walking stands closed friendly fixtures not being fulfilled transfer embargo’s etc you’d see the fan base take action.

Sadly this is reactive, what we need is a proactive approach and getting a fan base to get behind that is far more difficult.

Maybe people will wake up when we’re in league one.

The Majority will only turn when the situation is so dire that there’s no other option I'm afraid.

Those of us that can see the problem just need to keep using our voices and try to speed that process up.

I really do believe, we could be in the exact same position as Wednesday, and had a full boycott called for, I bet you would always get a good 10k who would go against that. Wednesday might have had a few 100

but it was a near enough full boycott.

I just put it down to more northern people being more passionate. As @Spanner73put it earlier, Sheffield industry was steel.

Leicester was woolly jumpers. Very appropriate

Go on to the ‘Leicester City FC’ Facebook page- the one with the old badge as its profile picture

The amount of blue ***** on there is absolutely incredible

I’ve lost count of the amount of times I’ve read ‘be careful what you wish for’

It must run pretty close to the number of times that was said on here when people first started wanting Rodgers out

I think I have gathered your name from the call in to talk sport was it recently? If so, I see your comments on these posts when I scan through and I commend your commitment to the cause my friend 👏

In most cases though, these people are too far gone.

606 wasn’t it. About 6 weeks ago

To be honest, I just quite enjoy ranting at thickos 😂

None seem to take the bait though. Bit like Finnegan and his possession obsession

Top reportedly insisted on this playing style having seen it work under Enzo. But football has moved on, physicality, pace and transitions are now key.

Shows how a lack of an external director of football is costing us, Top needs someone to push him and get rid of the yes man that is Rudklin, or he needs to go.

You are part of the problem- calling him Top and blaming it on Rudkin.

Yeah one of those phone ins when you linked it on here.

To be fair, it’s cult behaviour. Purely and simply. The definition of cult is;

“cult” can also mean an intense, devoted following of a particular person, product, or cultural phenomenon’

Sums them up right?

It does indeed.

Like I said on the radio- ‘bribed by a doughnut and a beer twice a year’

Great slogan

It's maddening isn't it? At this point the decline is so deep that there's not much worse we can 'wish for' besides administration and the club's existence being threatened... Both of which King Power may well be leading us towards given the seemingly parlous state of the club's finances.

The 'we were in League One once' mouthbreathers getting their wish to see us back there may not have long to wait, but the level of football would be the least of our worries while we still have awful players on £50k + a week and no realistic route to the top flight revenue streams that paid for it.

There have been some comparisons to Sheff Weds on here, and it would be foolish to say we're at that point... YET. But make no mistake, if there's no return to the prem and the parachute payments run out, we may well be every bit as screwed as they are. King Power are done financing the club, that much is obvious. It was a plaything during good times to get them some global exposure, they just got the luckiest of lucky breaks that it coincided with our golden years. Nobody is tuning in to see their branding plastered around the stadium as we limp to a home draw against Portsmouth.

Agree with all you’ve said except the Sheff Weds ‘quote’

Nobody at all thinks that we’re currently in as bad a situation as they were/are in

But the clued up ones realise we’re stood at the top of the same cliff they’re at the bottom of.

I’m just waiting for the links to surface about King Power being linked to that bloke from Cambodia

Eh? I said he needs to go if he doesn’t get rid of Rudkin and bring an external DoF in. The buck stops with Top/Aiyawatt.
