I think a lot of the 'on the fence' or even supportive fans, suffer from the fear of external opinion if they were to turn. You only have to listen to what happened with @The Year Of The Fox on 606 to understand that externally, KP can never do any wrong.

We will always be seen as an ungrateful team externally whenever we question anything or turn on a manager, because of what happened 10 years ago.

If people can get over this fear then we'll be on the right track.

What happened?

Was there a backlash I didn’t hear about? 😅

Ahh sorry I meant the presenters immediately rolling out the same defensive shtick as always!

Just go on facebook and see any comment on the posts. I never considered myself a member of a cult but I think some of my fellow Leicester supporters are, does this make me a member of one?

Can you name me some of the groups please?

Genuinely think I’m banned from them but will try searching 😂

I was ready for a right argument with Sutton and was expecting him to talk over me and all sorts. To be honest, I found him really quite respectful. Shocked me!

Well while people are advocating different things sadly its going to happen!

A bit like protests etc, it creates divisions amongst different views. Sadly thats life! People see things differently which is fine, people have a right to protest and cause disruption.

If you don't want to go in then don't.

If you try and stop others from going in the it's unlikely to end well.

The bookies can already smell blood. According to them we're more likely to go down than Stoke, Millwall, Wrexham and Bristol City. Worth a punt after seeing the attitude of these losers so far this season.

Lose at Charlton and things get really toxic. Again, Top and Co-this is your legacy......

Yes seems too early to say it but feels a crunch game already

As much as they're annoying we have to stop thinking the Facebook group fans are such a problem. They're craven sheep, they're Facebook fans and not on Foxestalk precisely because they're low-information and relatively disengaged from what's happening. The disaffected contingent are younger and far more motivated than the pro-club berks in "ive been to filbert street n stood on the kop those were the days my friend" - they don't have any argument - it's just labelling anybody they disagree with as ungrateful.

Probably half the people in the ground are clueless either way, then the remaining quarters are probably roughly pro-KP and anti. There just needs to be a coherent plan of action, Project Reset showed there's enough appetite for it, in what was probably a better position than we're in now too.

One of the takes from doing the leaflet hand-out's at the end of season was that there are far more annoyed than is let on. They just don't have the energy or courage to back audible disapproval. Almost gave up because the powers of 'modern football'.

I go non-league games in the county every week to two weeks and consistently hear people complaining about the whole set-up. The prices, the quality of football, the organisation.

My take on Facebook groups is you are actually looking at a very small number who are regular match goers. They are just in the prism of sitting at home without too much affecting them.

Interesting logic from a unionist.

Surely we can fight for what’s right in our beliefs as is our right?

Much like someone who needs the money being prevented crossing a picket line then called vile names for it. Those who enter the ground are crossing ‘our’ protest lines.

If someone tries to stop me going into work if I need and want to to support my family, or try’s to stop me going about my business, ie vegans blocking McDonalds or meat aisle or the just stop oils folk blocking the road, I presume it’s okay for it not to end well for them either?! Bit of a dangerous precedent to set!!

With the talk of Fatawu being sold now I think what we may be seeing is a classic 'asset stripping exercise.'

I think they're trying to recoup as much money as possible, and then they'll leave finally. Leaving us with nothing but a shell of a squad, with little talent.

Wouldn't surprise me if they've found a buyer.

I agree with you about your right to protest, but as I'm sure you noticed it did get a bit tasty between Just Stop Oil and a few drivers, those drivers hadn't been on the beer.

You are a very small minority, I really don't think it helps further your cause by stopping people from entering the stadium.

Just Stop Oil and drivers will never agree, likewise strikers and scabs.

We all support the same football club and the team/club will need us to all be behind them as the 12th man, that won't happen if we've ended up with an NUM/DUM situation on the turnstiles.

Going to sound naive now, but if they asset strip, doesn’t it mean a potential buyer gets us cheaper?

A buyer would need to pay what King Power would be willing to accept… the sale of players is unlikely to have a massive effect on that.

Likewise, I'm not sure the KPFC happy clappers and the fans who want to make a change will never agree either.

Maybe eventually the fans who want make change will find alternative past times as the club falls into oblivion under the King Power ownership, the happy clappers can turn up and back whatever lazy rubbish Jon Rudkin and King Power saddle us with and talk about the old days. It very hard to be supportive of absolute half arsed ponies like Soumare and co. Id rather a team full of cloggers at least they would try.

We won't while you keep referring to supporters as KPFC happy clappers, why try and wind people up????

When I first started going (1976) there were 30 or 40 under the age of 30, many of us went to almost every game and were adamant that would never change.

There's now about ten of us, the same will happen with those who now think they’re the greatest supporters ever and will follow the team till they drop dead. A family will come along and most are never see again. We've spent a large amount of money and time following our team and regularly having 'a good day out spoilt by 90 minutes of football'.

Actually we had seasons of it, so it doesn't sit well when we get referred to as 'happy clappers'.

I've watched seasons of 'cloggers' it isn't good. Soumare hasn't been a success but that's what happens when you try and bring in 'young winners' from foreign leagues rather than the likes of Iain Hulme.

Our sale would not help KP in their financial woes, we are peanuts compared to their wider business.

Getting bored (or losing the club in a bizarre polo bet  ) seems most likely.

I think the fact we only took 2,600 to Preston is a massive show of discontent - a very rare Saturday 3pm away game, our first of the season in the league, at a ground no less that we've very recently had a memorable night at that you would think would only encourage people to go again.

2,600 is appalling and it shows how much the credit has run out - we'd have taken easily double that two years ago.

Look at Saturday, the travelling fans made their voices heard, vented some frustration towards the players and club, it was far from vitriolic or toxic and yet look at the fall out and criticism that has been forthcoming, Abdul’s post, Winks sulking and many fans calling fans out for daring to voice opinion during or after a game.

The only one who seems to get it is Marti who absolutely hit the nail on the head, it’s no wonder many decide to stay quiet. A few boos at half time and some Rudkin out chants and all of a sudden we are the problem.

I dont think this is the case because of the debt to shares conversion KP have done. If anything they need us with the strongest squad possible to keep the value high.

What we are seeing now is the culmination of years of careless mismanagement and the reluctance to learn from it.

It’s almost like the club and players are trying to pivot the narrative that it’s the nasty, ungrateful fans that are at fault and that we should back the lads regardless.
Well **** the club and the lazy, entitled wasters on the pitch. I’ve had a gutful of them all.
Seriously regretting renewing already. I hope I’m proved wrong….
