Slot losing to a Dutch team surely must be the final straw. It's very strange he's not sacked yet. There's no way he can improve the dreadful defense/midfield in January and I'm sure even if they give him another half billion he's incapable tactically to do it.

I'll never understand this kind of passes at the back by defenders. Why do they pass to a teammate who can't see who is coming behind him? It happens so many times it's ridiculous. The risk is so high there's no logic behind it. Either the players are stupid or their managers forcing them to play like this are incompetent.

Declan Rice has become a great player. So much better when he has licence to carry the ball. He was never a sitting number 6.

I'd say it's worse given the money they've spent.

Another Simeone masterclass. It's no coincidence this team keeps on scoring so many goals after the 90th min. You can see and feel the passion even from the TV and it's all down to this superb coach.

When you spend heavily and buy players you don't need this is what you get. PSG was doing the same and failing for years.

Slot probably needs to go… but ****ing hell Richard Hughes might be the worst director of football appointment at a high level in recent history. Seems to have disregarded all his previous success at finding gems and just played football manager roulette! 
 

Liverpool fans were delighted when Edwards returned to the club but his decision to bring in Hughes hasn’t worked at all.
