Leicester signed a 2 year deal with BC Game in summer 2024 so ends summer 2026. If they paid up front even if currently in limbo Leicester may contractually and legally not be in a position to replace them without reimbursing monies paid. A new sponsor would have to be equal to what we repay BC but now we are in the Championship that might be challenging. Hence blank shirts and that might be the case through till summer 26. I could of course be totally wrong.

Would love this but a company that effectively ceased trading in 1993 might struggle to cough up the necessary funds.

Say it ain’t so 😭

Where do you get 3/4 of hospitality was empty. Premier Lounge is sold out for the season, not many spaces in Champions Club, some in Restaurant, Walkers Hall 70% get your facts accurate please. I know I visited all these lounges to see people. If your evidence is some visual moment in time you are wrong. The packages at Leicester are commensurate with peers such as Southampton.

Weirdly angry response…. The area of the west stand behind the directors was easily half empty if not more about twenty minutes in on Friday.

You’re totally wrong. Starting to wonder who you might be given the defensive tone this evening 🤔

And the condition of such a deal would be that they remain the principal partner (front of shirt sponsor), otherwise the agreement would probably be null and void.

I’m not sure why the concept of 300 people paying £100-150 is better than 0 people paying £300 is so lost on them lol

Because it means someone in higher management will end up with a bruised ego and we cant be having that, its why it took so long for tickets to come back on general sale rather than needing a membership first.

Possibly but without sight of the agreement we will never know. I suspect that there is currently a void as BC Game may not be trading but whoever holds the entitlement does not want to release Leicester. I am positive that if Leicester were unencumbeted to find a sponsor they would.

Not angry more factual and I sit there and it was not half empty possibly some Walkers Hall seats were empty but this does not translate into 3/4 of hospitality empty which was the observation. This is a debate site and we are allowed to challenge factually inaccurate or over embellishments.

I am a supporter of more than 50 years home and away not that I have to explain myself to anyone. I am to assume that because you are from Nottingham you are a tree agitator. No I accept you have observations and respect them. The club gets some things wrong I agree but knocking everything with inaccuracy I call out.

again shows how ****ing useless the commercial team is

reinforced by the fact the kit is so shit it would actually be improved with a sponsor

The kits this year are probably the best set we’ve had in years (the home being the worst of the 3) and it’s pretty normal for a sponsor to either make or break the look of a shirt.

I agree with the first part though.

Fair enough. Was just trying to have a laugh because of how serious and on the clubs side you sounded lol

You are completely wrong on the sponsor thing though 👍

And no… not a “tree agitator”, I just live here like most of our playing squad and quite a lot of other supporters lol

You’d agree we’d both have rather different views of the situation with you sitting within it and me looking directly at it right? I can’t tell if sections of the kop are full/empty while I’m in it.

Point still stands for me, the commercials are wrong for a season in the championship and there’s not enough new/interesting options.

Ipswich for example have about 15 packages ranging from £80 to £300

So do Leicester is my point I run an evaluation system of hospitality and clubs plus providers look to their ranking. I can tell you that on the scoring system Leicester is below mid table but Ipswich are far worse. Their top area last year told people 24 hours before a game that there would only be cold food at 300 pounds with no refunds or compensation. Nothing is ever quite as it seems Bournemouth and Brighton top the rankings.

I appreciate your insight especially given your background. I'm purely coming at it from a commercial/marketing (my background) point of view. Fill seats... make more money, introduce new customers to a more premium product and then hook them in at a higher price point next time around.

The cheapest package for Portsmouth is £234. For context, if we played Portsmouth in the league cup last season (and minus the buffet) you could get that seat for £50.

There's room for another tier or two for sure, especially while we're in the Championship.

There's loads of innovation in hospitality at the minute, some clubs are even introducing outdoor marquees or 'beer hall' type settings where it's a more casual experience with street food and pints, then you go to your nicer seat/nicer half time area.

It just comes back to the fact this club never innovates, we only stand still.

Interesting you mention Brighton being the best, their "Heineken Club" package which is unlimited food and beer comes out cheaper than any of our "bottomless options" even for an A grade Premier League game....

I liked it when Brighton had SKINT, Norman Cooks record label as a shirt sponsor. Didn't do them any harm. Is there a company called BROKE or perhaps the band BUSTED?
