Should’ve been Carranza up top with Ayew 10 and JJ alongside Winks.

30 mins on the clock and we’ll have had 2 shots, neither on target and one corner and free kick not beating the first man…

Ayew will stifle our attack.

Oh and the game will bypass Booby.

Comments like this bug me. If it's in our blood we don't get to change. Does not mean we have to beat bl***y happy clapper all the time!

We disagree on the Nelson point but can’t agree more with this.

Personally I am sick of the club not planning ahead, hence my rants about the Nelson matter. So apparently I shouldn’t be following the club. Great

Be nice to support a new manager though, rather than being critical of every decision. We're half a dozen games into a new season, with a new manager who is having to pick up the pieces from last year. It just makes me laugh that some people who watch the game from the stands, at best, have a better insight on what our starting XI should be rather than the coaches and manager who works with them all week. We've all got Leicester in our blood, but I'm never sick of them.

Or a sad I know better bitch in every bloody match thread.

It's a two way street.

It's been 6 games in which he has given multiple youth products minutes in the team. The idea that you can start them all every match is for the birds.

Could he do more? possibly

Has he been a disaster for the academy? No don't be rediculous

There are 46 games + cup games thos season there will be plenty of opportunity let's not have ridiculous reaction to the first 6 games

It's not about starting them every match, they dont even make the bench.

Kristiansen making the bench ahead of Aluko, Cordova Reid making the bench over Page and Nelson not making the bench sends very clear message, Cifuentes will only use the academy players as a last resort.

He is slowly phasing them further and further away from the first team after a succesful pre season where they showed they were at the level required.

Oh God, I have been sick of us so many times over the years. Doesn't mean I switch to supporting 'effing Man City!!! We are all different.

He fluffed a simple ball behind Fatawu, that he did brilliantly to convert. Come on...

Bouba does that on the regular yet still somehow gets picked.

Totally agree. We don't create many chances and he has to change something after the last 2 draws. Ayew at 9 is a no no. Hope I am wrong but I just dont fancy our chances tonight.

I don’t think the manager has any actual attacking tactics. He hasn’t shown anything other than pass the ball to winger and everyone else stand back.

The manager is allowing Ayew to play this way.  He’s setting the team up with the bottleneck.

The same with keeping Soumare in the middle and Thomas at LB.

No it doesn't. lol

The starting 11, I kind of get. But no place for Nelson, Page, or Aluko on the bench over BDCR and Kristiansen is pretty disappointing.

Fingers crossed we get an early goal, make it comfortable, and Carranza can come on to force his way into that 11.

His QPR side were actually very attacking and had some really good patterns of play, it’s yet to click here.

I didn't say you shouldn't follow the club, I was suggesting that if you were sick of the club, you don't have to follow them. I too think the club is poorly run, but not playing Nelson is the manager's decision and he sees the players on a daily basis. At the moment, I'll trust his judgement.

Kristiansen is beyond s**t, but this is still OTT. Give if a few more weeks at least! ;)

We can critique a manager who is making the same mistakes every week, just like Cooper and Ruud. It’s foreshadowing just like with the last two clowns.

I won’t be convinced of him until we get rid of Soumare and Ayew and batter a team in the first half of a game.

Nelson hasn't done enough to earn selection, nor is there a real reason to change the defence. If he's good enough his time will come.

Soumare's pretty cack, but I'd pick him over Skipp if JJ is needed upfield.

If Carranza is any good he'll take Ayew's place, but he's got to show something off the bench. Call it an incentive.

Mav's not our biggest problem by any means. He could win this for us. Sure Jeremy could reach an entirely different level, but we do need to be careful with such a young lad.

I mean, did you not watch Saturday? carranzas link up play looked neat while Ayew put in a performance that made Elvis Hammond look like a balon d'or winner in comparison

Have we ever had such a slow starting 11/squad?

I know it’s very FIFAesque to care too much about pace but how can we recruit so many slow players?

What, I’d do to see Lloyd Dyer again 🤓
