Ricardo back in the team

Withdrawn after 22 minutes with an unspecified 'strain/muscle issue'.

We're all aware of Daka's limitations, but the team can do better as an attacking unit with him because he disrupts the oppo defence with his runs & pressing, which opens up gaps which the others can exploit.  (Ayew doesn't have that capability and is a big factor in the slowness of us getting forward).

We need to use him even more effectively though, by showing more attacking intent - pushing balls up more quickly from defence, supporting him better from our midfield, and our wingers in particular anticipating the ball breaking into spaces and being ready to seize on the opportunities.

you should apply to be one of Marti's coaches.

Here's my bingo card.

- We pick up some odd, harsh or unnecessary yellow cards in the first half.

- Ricardo gets withdrawn injured during the first half.

- We are awarded, but miss a penalty.

- Skipp comes on at some point and stinks the place out.

- Whichever of Monga/Fatawu is looking most threatening withdrawn about 64 minutes. No risk of swapping sides at any time.

- Thomas plays at least one of those angled balls back to the centre backs which he gets hopelessly wrong , leading to a chance at goal.

- Daka scores, possibly more than once.

- Ayew 100% comes on at some point.

I fear a complete collpase today to send us unhappily into the International break.

Listening to Marti's more recent interviews he seems to have completely lost his confidence and I think that is being reflected in the players. Not that our lot need much of an excuse to turn in a shocker of a performance based on the last 15 months. .

We have had issues getting a striker in for years, thankfully we had Vardy and it didn’t matter so much, but now we really do need one. Daka isn’t going to suddenly turn into that 15/20 goal striker

Its fairly clear to me that we need Rob Kelly back involved since re-doubling efforts in training compounds and you end up with an 8 fold increase after just 3 sessions and a 16 fold after 4. You do the math(s)

That Daka shout is like when you’ve done a ten line bet builder and it’s still only 2/1 so you pick something rogue

We need The Emperor to turn up - he's not as forgiving...

Starting to feel like Vesty, Faes, Winks are in charge and pick themselves. A win would do a lot to build confidence though. Need to go for it, no point getting all these draws.

To be honest, I can't really believe I've predicted it, but I had a dream that I went to the game (this is where it all falls down as I'm not going) and we won and Daka scored more than once but we missed a penalty.

It was frustrating because the drive back took way longer than it should have done due to traffic and I have no idea why I would allow that aspect in to my dream.

Another odd thing is that I gave Marcus Brigstocke a lift there. I bet he doesn't even live in Bristol, but that's where I picked him up. I also would bet he doesn't support Leicester or Swansea.

I'm not sure why I've told you this; but I have now. And you can't unread it.

Most of our footballers are hobbits. We seems comparatively quite small.

Only 4 of the 11 starting are six foot or over. Still Spain won the world cup in 2010 with a short team :)

Just researched Marcus Brigstocke. No suggestion he lives in Bristol or is a Leicester fan.
