Popular Post Cropwellfox Posted 25 November 2025 Popular Post Posted 25 November 2025 We aren’t sacking this useless *****. The fact we have only signed 2 goalkeepers on frees and elsewhere loans including a reserve team level striker tells you everything you need to know. The incompetent pond life running the club have managed to **** the finances up last season too, whilst bringing in some of the most detestable footballers to the club we now can’t get rid of. Year after year of abject transfer policy has been allowed to happen. Genuinely however bad it feels tonight, we haven’t seen anything yet until Top and Rudkin are gone. 7

Ian Nacho Posted 25 November 2025 Posted 25 November 2025 Aiyawatt will employ his other bit on the side as the manager . 1

Popular Post J.Lisemore Posted 25 November 2025 Popular Post Posted 25 November 2025 We haven’t looked particularly good against anyone all season, I don’t think he sets us up to do anything attacking wise, there’s always a massive over reliance on the wingers to create something out of nothing 90% of the time. 6
CarolinaFox Posted 25 November 2025 Posted 25 November 2025 My biggest issue with Marti is that his teams play far too casually. He sets them up to keep the ball, but there’s no urgency or drive behind that possession. For a side that doesn’t score easily, this slow, carefree style leaves us looking flat and without the hunger to win. What we need instead is football played with intensity, identity, and control. We should use possession as a tool to control momentum, push the game at key moments, and create scoring chances. Possession only matters if it leads to goals and real control of the match. Without urgency, we’re just passing the ball around while the game slips away. I see a huge lack of intensity in this team in terms of mentality, and fitness and footballing identity. Those three things are down to Marti. He is either failing at accomplishing a successful football vision and identity based on what he said he wanted us to look like, or he has no clue what he's doing. And I think either are good cause to move on from the Marti experiment. Its a hard job managing this squad, they aren't going to win by just showing up, but we need someone who can talk the talk and walk the walk and produce a product on the pitch we are proud of. The questions is, are you proud of the performances you see? I'm not, even when we win it looks like a total fluke. 2

Or would you rather just sack the manager every couple of months and hope for new manager bounces? Let’s flip it, what have you seen this season from Marti that suggests he is doing well and is the right fit?

This is no revisionism around him being anything other than dire, but he had at least started trying to weed out the bad eggs. We are basically getting all of the bad without even the small bit of good. Cifuentes out. Totally out of his depth.
Cropwellfox Posted 25 November 2025 Posted 25 November 2025 His big words pre season about relentless pressing, front foot, chasing more goals was absolutely undone from game one when we couldn’t do it against a barely coached Sheff Wednesday and then completely exposed against Preston. Since then the only thing he seems able to coach us to do is pass it around 35 yards from our goal and then slap a long through ball towards a forward 4 who are all poor in the air, and then have two sitting midfielders without the pace or determination to get onto any second balls. We must be so so so easy to set up against. Regardless of the players available, that is absolutely on the manager and his tactical ineptitude. 4

Who cares if he takes us down? At least we'll get rid of the shit we've got cluttering the place up. We desperately need to get rid of King Power and hope we miraculously end up with the next Pearson, Shakespeare and Walsh.

Exactly. We haven't comfortably outplayed a team over 90 minutes all season. And as for the attacking football and ruthless killing off of games he was talking about when he joined, not seen a glimmer. 1

All players values have dropped and look worse than they did after hideous form before the end of the season last year You really think they look worse than last year? Id agree no better but not worse. But my point would be 3 managers in a row have looked like they have no idea and no tactics. I think its more likely the players are refusing/ are incapable of following the tactics rather than the nanagers just not having anything. If we could see tactics and they were bad and not working then thats defintly on the manager but not being able to see any tactics makes it look like the players not doing what they are told to
