Doubt we see any change if King takes over, he's been with the players all this time. There's no chance he risks upsetting people he has worked with day in day out.

Surely he does if he thinks it gives him a chance of becoming a permanent option.

I expect he'll see his best chance of using the senior players and fall into the trap of thinking he can get more out of them

John Heitinga - because our previous Dutch manager went so well… Not done well at Ajax but would take him if he fancied it. Free agent and Wasserman client as well so you know, not sure how realistic he is though

He's had one job and failed spectacularly, he's well within our reach and it scares me that he'd likely be under consideration. He'd fit right in here to be fair. Doss about, be poor and get paid handsomely for it.

Good idea, but we’re even worse at attacking.

Maybe we could just change sports? They seem to play more water polo and golf at seagrave than football anyway

So potentially with Wolves interested in Edwards there could be 4 championship clubs looking for a new manager in the next few days.
Southampton, Us (hopefully), Norwich - can’t see Manning lasting much longer, and Middlesbrough.
Could Mowbray return to Middlesbrough?
I don’t know but it’s guaranteed we’ll end up with Martin.

Appointing Marti this summer was a calculated risk, and at the time the thought was that a manager with a progressive style of play similar to Enzo might be the best fit for us. He was either going to be Enzo 2.0 or RVN 2.0, and I think we know which one he's become. A manager who can't deal with the obvious limitations of the squad. This club has lost all of its credibility with its fan base. It doesn't have the trust capital to make the same type of gamble with a replacement. Its time to go out and get a manager with promotion experience or significant experience of success in the championship. I'm over the whole "progressive" manager thing. We keep going after managers that have a percieved high talent ceiling or who could be the next big thing, but I'd be okay with a steady hand who can get us scoring again more than one goal a game.

Corbeans supposedly on the verge of being sacked in Spain. The logical choice with our previous interest and the job he did at West Brom

Close to being sacked? Gerrimin!  Nothing shows more ambition than appointing a recently sacked manager.

What budget do you think we’re working on? We arent buying anyone out of a club

I think Ange would be interesting. We can’t defend anyway so might as well just try to outscore sides

Yes, lucky we’ve got a plethora of world class strikers then! Mr Sitter and Fairy Boy Caranza! Oops, sorry, the latter is out with a tweaked finger nail!

I’d go for Dean Smith. We need to hit the reset button, and go back to basics a little. He knows the league well, is pragmatic, and would pribably be able to handle the shit we’ve got at our disposal now.

We’ve got to think differently, we’ve got to move away from this obsession with possession based football at the moment, we need to go for someone who will manage the group. We need a period of stability before we settle (be it a take over, or Top comes to his senses and restructures his boardroom).

Can’t be a rinse and repeat of managers just hoping one comes off.

Sometimes you’ve got to put your preferred options to one side, and go for what benefits the club.

Phil Parkinson, but we probably couldn’t afford his compensation or match the tranf budget of Wrexham.

We could make him a movie star in Thailand😂🇹🇭 in a documentary.

Look at so many of the top managers right now - Guardiola, Arteta, Xabi Alonso, Cesc - were all deep-lying playmakers.

And they're all Spanish.

So we fxxked it there then!

Don’t see Dean leaving Charlotte FC, my hometown club. His son lives here and his team is doing really well. Plus he’s a big golf guy so I think he’s staying put. We love him here. But I agree with the idea: we need that type of manager for sure!
