he went unbeaten all season and won the league, they finished 3rd the season he took over, that's the main reason I want him because he will 100% get the most of out them.

Speak to any Villa fan. Not only did he not get the best out of their players, most of them actively loathed him by the end. He’s an appalling man manager and tactically clueless.

I’d like Dean Smith. He knows the time of day, has a good championship record and would like to rectify the prem relegation, which I don’t blame home for. I’m sure he would have got us promoted too with that Maresca team.

They had a much better squad under Emery though but I won't mention him again now lol

Think it will be Dean Smith anyhow.

I’ve got no issues with it being Dean Smith at this point.

We just need to actually give him enough time this time around, so we can actually stop the sinking ship.

I mean, the only people that bet on Leicester city manager changes are the people in this thread so if the odds shortened after you bet, it's because you bet.

Yes that’s my point. Just shows how volatile the market is that a £20 bet can change it like that.

the odds are nothing to go by when it comes to predicting the next manager.

What on earth are you talking about? Emery walked in the door and vastly improved them with exactly the same squad.

I’d be content with Smith.

My Aston Villa supporting mate was full of praise for Dean Smith, almost talking about him in the same we talk about Nige.

When I asked him about Gerrard he just shook his head and said "no, no thank you" like he was having flashbacks from 'Nam.

Turning into the I'm a celebrity voting.

Russ... "It's not going to be you"

Michael.... "It's not you"

Gary.... "it might be you"

Gus... "it's not going to be you"

Deano... "that means it might be you"

If honest, won't surprise me the bookies are looking on here for their sources. Don't think they have clue who we are going for.

Not even the board know who we are going for

Smith is currently back in America at the moment, he was doing an interview following a pre-season friendly for Charlotte FC only this morning.

The thread goes hot, and upon opening it, you’re faced with page after page of the most depressing shit imaginable.

We really are entering a dark age, aren’t we?

His odds haven’t shifted in days.

He keeps whacking £20 on himself every couple of hours in the hope that Pudkin notices him

Let’s face it, who ever we get there’s some that will be happy, some will be satisfied and some will hate it! You can’t please everyone! Yet this is our club, we’re in a mess and we’ve got to support best we can and be the twelfth man! Players need some belief and we ca give them that from the stands!

Emery is potentially the most underrated coach this millennium.

Imagine 8th minute everyone in the stadium tomorrow chanting "Nigel Pearsons Leicester army" I wonder if Rudkin and TOP would take the hint.

Be 2-0 down by then and half the kop

will be back in the concourse
