Foxin_Mad Posted 13 February Posted 13 February I wonder if Top needs to watch the video about what happens if we go down, they seem utterly oblivious. Surely League 1 would be the end of Rudkin if nothing else?
HP1 Posted 13 February Posted 13 February Top will probably make Adam Sadler as manager with Andy King as assistant 1
BigGibbo Posted 13 February Posted 13 February From 15.58 if it hasn't already been posted. Seems to think we're on deaths door. 2 1

But he is right, hes probably the best man manager. Bring him in with Kingy and fans will be behind the survival push. It's a no brainer lift for everyone at a time when there is no hope. It might well be enough to galvanise us to survive by the skin of our teeth. IF we do it now. Otherwise we are gone. 1

Also the only way to get the ground packed again and fans reinvested, re-interested and reinvigorated towards our club. Something that is needed from the stands. NP and AK will always be LCFC heroes but pulling this off would cement them in the Godlike echelons of LCFC history. Fail and it will not reflect on them in any way, the anger will be directed at everyone above them for letting it get to this. 3
LeePhilpottsBaldSpot Posted 13 February Posted 13 February Another week lost. Certainly does seem like it'll just be King unless (/until) we get even deeper in the shit. It's honestly hard to not feel like you're being a mug for even caring at this stage. 1
ElusiveEd Posted 13 February Posted 13 February I had a text earlier from a lifelong LCFC fan who got the bug from his now elderly aunt who's close to being 80 years old and also a lifelong supporter. He'd forwarded a text from her saying this is the worst she has ever known and has felt towards everything LCFC and even she can't see how we get out of the mess we are in. It's a sad indictment of where we are when even someone closing in on being an octogenarian lifelong LCFC supporter can't remember a time in our clubs history as bad as this. 1

Clogger_ Posted 13 February Posted 13 February Genuinely wonder why anyone would think Nige isn't the right man for our situation. The only reason I can think of is that he doesn't deserve us ruining his days! Utter legend. If you cannot be motivated by Nige you can FOAD (or at least train with the youth team)

Keith Downing his assistant at Bristol. Hayden Mullins. I’m sure he’ll have other contacts he’d trust in the group of people. He is well respected 1

Wymsey Posted 13 February Posted 13 February It's going to be someone quite under-whelming, isn't it, and some will write he/she off almost immediately.

Susan Whelan doesn’t come out of this well. I’ve been banging on about her inadequacy in this whole story for years but some people like to think she was just doing her best. Complete and utterly pathetic work all round from the club. 1
