I wonder if Top needs to watch the video about what happens if we go down, they seem utterly oblivious. Surely League 1 would be the end of Rudkin if nothing else?

Just listened to the WYS podcast. Stowell was definitely putting Pearsons name out there. But he is right, hes probably the best man manager. Bring him in with Kingy and fans will be behind the survival push.

It's a no brainer lift for everyone at a time when there is no hope. It might well be enough to galvanise us to survive by the skin of our teeth. IF we do it now. Otherwise we are gone.

Also the only way to get the ground packed again and fans reinvested, re-interested and reinvigorated towards our club. Something that is needed from the stands.

NP and AK will always be LCFC heroes but pulling this off would cement them in the Godlike echelons of LCFC history.

Fail and it will not reflect on them in any way, the anger will be directed at everyone above them for letting it get to this.

I had a text earlier from a lifelong LCFC fan who got the bug from his now elderly aunt who's close to being 80 years old and also a lifelong supporter.

He'd forwarded a text from her saying this is the worst she has ever known and has felt towards everything LCFC and even she can't see how we get out of the mess we are in.

It's a sad indictment of where we are when even someone closing in on being an octogenarian lifelong LCFC supporter can't remember a time in our clubs history as bad as this.

Top will never get rid of rudkin

whether the family might intervene is another question

You would think the pair of them would have the sense to realise that by Rudkin stepping sideways into KP racing it would take the heat off both of them straight away and mean Top could bring back Pearson and start to turn the tide

I for one loved Pearson when he was here,....but he's not the right man for us now.

I propose Vladimir Putin, full of attacking ideas 👍

not all of them good ones…

Genuinely wonder why anyone would think Nige isn't the right man for our situation. The only reason I can think of is that he doesn't deserve us ruining his days! Utter legend. If you cannot be motivated by Nige you can FOAD (or at least train with the youth team)

With or without shakey and cambiasso?

Chris Powell or Jason Euel. Andy King. Stowell can work with him. Keith Downing his assistant at Bristol. Hayden Mullins. I’m sure he’ll have other contacts he’d trust in the group of people. He is well respected

From 15.58 if it hasn't already been posted. Seems to think we're on deaths door.

It’s really worrying but noting said here is anything we don’t already know. It feels like we are heading into 2002 …

It's going to be someone quite under-whelming, isn't it, and some will write he/she off almost immediately.

When you say he/she, do you know something we don’t? Is the new manager Thai?

Very interesting indeed.
Susan Whelan doesn’t come out of this well. I’ve been banging on about her inadequacy in this whole story for years but some people like to think she was just doing her best. Complete and utterly pathetic work all round from the club.
