I’d honestly rather Aluko come in & make a few mistakes which is expected playing at this level.

 

From what I’ve seen, he’s comfortable on the ball & unlike Thomas, is always the right side of his man!!

Yup he can't be starting Ricardo at left back as it was a disaster last time and only for an injury we switched it around.

Back up the two wins with a draw here and then beat Sheff Utd at home.

he's nearly got it right but needs to play BDCR instead of Skipp and put James in the 8 and of course give Aluko a chance a LB.

 

until we stop with this Skipp Winks James or Soumare Winks James we will never look good.

Bringing on Soumare when he did and for whom he did on Saturday might well have been the worst substitution I’ve ever seen, genuinely.

If Aluko is a total disaster,.passes only to Vesty or straight out of play, directly costs us  a goal, gets a yellow after 3 mins, gets robbed of the ball whilst trying to do a Cruyff turn,.offers zero going forward and gets wrong side of his man on four occasions.... he'll be on par with our first choice left back.

The last few games Southampton have really used the wingers. They’ve got Fellows on the right with Scienza on the left, the latter looks a real threat. We’re going to need a lot of pace on the right to keep him quiet..

I don't know if you've heard my views on football management before, but..... it's an absolute piece of piss of a job 🤣

 

If you have the right coaches behind you, the motivation and tactic part is easy peasy. 
 

A dream job. If you work hard in the real world (like most of us) this is so so easy in comparison

To be fair the only game we've won starting with the Winks, James midfield is Swansea. On paper and on the eyes it's the best but something goes wrong more often than not.
