You could well be right but I was happy that we didn't panic after conceding straight after the break on Saturday. Not so long ago we would have caved under the expectation but the team dug in, despite the pressure, for the result.

Not the point is it, becoming a Tielemans thread I know , but no problem he decided to let his contract run down, but downing tools whilst still be under contract to us is a problem.

Mmmmm on this forum I really doubt that you "hope your wrong" there are way more miserable, negative doom and gloom mongers on here that hope you`re right !

It's only really in the last game that Southampton looked impressive. QPR and Wednesday were nothing to write home about. Much like our performances. 

 

The only question is whether that result and performance from Saturday carries into today for Southampton. Or whether we see two absolutely rancid teams serve up another 90 minutes of stale, grey and lifeless football.

 

If they carry their levels into this game then we're in trouble. If they revert back to their usual standard then it'll be a grim affair and the game will come down to luck/moments that decide which way the game goes.

EDIT: Now I have taken off these rose tinted specs and took the meds, late winner from someone at the end of a dull game is my bet.
