Giving up Season Tickets

I’m gutted and frustrated at what’s going on  and I feel paying money to the club is supporting Top and his mismanagement of the club

 

Does anyone know if I give up our season and revert to membership tickets do we automatically get  points allocated to a membership ?

I would hazard a guess that all the points gathered with your season ticket would be lost and you would start your membership at the points when you got your season ticket.. I can’t see they would let you keep your points still

I thought that was the case - but I emailed the club in the summer when I was debating what to do. They said that if you ever decide to get a ST again, you’d need to be a member again for a season before applying. 
 

These things change though, so I’d probably ask the club. I would say that if you cancel your direct debit mid season, you’d most likely get black listed.

 

Its hard to get excited about things right now, and I’m also considering giving it up in the summer and switching to watching from home.

How can you give up your season ticket (unless you mean end of season)? Can't just cancel it :dunno:

I gave up mine quite a few years ago for work reasons and the points are still on my account so yours should go over to your membership.

Don’t think you are picking up what I’m putting down 

 

A full stadium doesn’t scream of a fan base that wants change and to get rid of the current ownership

That daft rule will soon be dropped when they are begging you to renew in March again, or will it be a season when the renewal prices/dates get released weeks after the season has ended?

 

Either way I doubt next season will  be a sold out season ticket campaign.

A couple mates of mine managed to get ‘half’ season tickets for the games from Jan onwards that season so wouldn’t have been at capacity.

This talk of people who buy STs lining Top’s pockets, is surely coming from people who just don’t understand the emotional and committed pull of supporting a football team. When I buy my ST.as I have for the past 40 years, my biggest thrill is knowing I have a ticket for every City home match. It’s my money I’m spending and my choice how I do. I don’t know who owns M and S, or Amazon or any other shop I use. If they sell what I want, I’ll buy it. I don’t go into the principles of the companies but respect anyone who does. I support LCFC both financially, spiritually and physically and am fed up being told my non supporters that I’m causing problems by doing so.

I would guess they will want them back if we make the Premier League again. I wouldn’t give mine up no matter what league, no matter how rubbish we are, no matter who is in charge in any position etc. I don’t give a toss what others think. My choice as it is theirs.

Are you aware you can move your ticket at any time in the season, for one game or permanently.

Yes, but I do also know that the first relocation is free. They charge you after that.

 

As far as atmosphere goes, SK2 is dead and full of moaners.

How do you find out what seats are permanently free elsewhere other than giving them a call?

Sounds about right, we always had 20-22k in the championship total attendance and all home corners used to be largely empty way back then. 
 

Didn’t they allow another 6-7k STH when we first got promoted and capped it at around that since.

I think there are less clappers every game, I've noticed the clapping at the video has lessened and I'm sure it won't be long before it stops. I'm a lifelong leicester fan, and I'll go when i feel there's a plan to move forwards, even if it's not working, that's why I'm hoping we survive, and that next season we begin a rebuild, if we don't I'll probably not renew
