Season ticket holders around me already saying they aren’t renewing next year. These are guys who were at filbert street and not just 10 years in. There is such an apathy at the moment it’s really worrying.

Wonder what the waiting list for a season ticket will be at the end of the season. Next season I can envisage half season tickets coming back

I go back to the Filbert St days and don’t know many that still go now, those that do, only go for a pint and a catch up once in a while, the Football is secondary it seems.

True but as I keep saying, im yet for any Top supporters to give me any good reasons why they still support him? What do they see that gives them confidence that he can sort the club out? I'm willing to listen to other point of views if there is rational to back up their opinions

Not sure. Must be some degree of 'its what you do', meet up with mate's, etc and less interest in the trajectory would be my guess. (It 100% is a guess though)

Do you know if those same ones will be going on Monday night?

If that is the case, then how can these people declare themselves "true fans"?  Again, just my opinion, but a true fan is more than turning up to "back the lads" or have a catch up with mates. A true fan wants the very best for the club and cares about the long term sustainability of the club.

No idea tbh. Generally older with less fight than when they were younger? Hard to label them as not true fans in this case.

Over 31.000 attendance for the match v. Derby hardly smacks of apathy.

Don’t believe that for a second, there were seats everywhere

You could be right with that. Maybe since the league win and fa cup win, some have seen the very best and know we won't likely see it again so have become less bothered/interested.

Not real fans according to Hackneyfox :)

I didn’t say that, just pointed out that many who are currently the loudest will be missing in a few years.

We have been nowhere near 31,000 people actually in the ground at any game this season and most of last.

So the Club are sending outright lies to the media on a regular basis?  If you can back that up you'd have a story that the more excitable news outlets would love to hear from you.

Were you there and, if you were, did you think there were around 700 empty seats in the ground?

No, I wasn't, I'm 80 years old and live over a hundred miles away, but I still regard myself as a supporter of the Club, and have done since I was 12 years old.  Do you really think a club that is being critcised for a lack of any public communication is going to announce to the media an outright lie after every home match for over a year!?

Only doing what every club does when reporting attendances.  Every season ticket holder is counted as attending so that’s 23k before you add in members, general sale etc.  I remember watching an Arsenal game towards the end of the Wenger era when the ground was no more than 1/3 full.  The tannoy announced 50k+ and the crowd just laughed.

Personally I don’t see why they can’t just report the true attendance because they know whether we have turned up or not otherwise how do they send emails asking why we didn’t go.  What do they want, a note from my Mum?

There's a difference between 'tickets sold' and 'bums on seats / in the concourse not watching the game'

They are clearly basing attendances on tickets sold as opposed to physical attendees.

it's already well known that the "attendance" is tickets sold and is irrespective of whether season ticket holder turn up

Makes a nonsense of all these 'best attended clubs' charts then.

@hackneyfox can you make a list of points as to why we should back King Power and why they are the right owners for us, specifically outlining the successes the club have had in the last 5 seasons.

thanks

There certainly seems to be a staggering amount of fans on facebook that fully back King Power and the board. Mind blowing really.

That’s what every sport and entertainment event does though. So it’s not like we’re deliberately being lied to here*; it’s the industry standard to base things on tickets sold.

(* at least not on this point)

This boycott just wont happen or certanly not in the numbers required. You only have look at Leicester City divided on facebook to see why.

If anyone does it, it's worked.

It's meant to be the start of something.
