We look a bit tactically bereft. 

 

I mean, I don't have any coaching badges or anything, but there is bad stuff going on that anyone with eyes can see and that the manager should sort out, but doesn't.

 

We keep trying to play it out from the back and putting ourselves in danger.  Especially with Okoli's touch and Luke's brain.   Teams just know that all they need to do is press us and wait for us to muck it up.

 

Having passed to the defenders, tonight we frequently  proceded to hoof it long to no one in particular,  giving away the ball repeatedly.  

 

We played Silko up front and then starved him of service.  Then took him off.  Hardly developing the lad, is it?

 

No one has had a word in Abdul's ear to remind him that it's a team game and he doesn't need to shoot every single time.

 

If we have a discernable tactic, it seems to be get it to the wide lads and hope, and the opposition just have to get bodies in front of Mavididi (who doesn't seem to take a man on) or get bodies around Abdul, who blows hot and cold.

 

Still waiting for Marti to impose a pattern of play.  Not really seeing it.

 

Even when we've won, we've not been all that convincing.

To be honest its just embarrassing not just for me and my mates but the club in general. We were all there for the Leicester.

I think that's right up there with the worst performance I've ever seen from us. Just absolutely atrocious in every single department with not a single positive you can take away from the game.

 

Sheffield United won't play an easier game this season - possibly in their history. I think Oxford have every right to feel aggrieved that Leicester were bringing the game into disrepute, essentially giving Sheffield United a free matchday ahead of the weekend while nobody else in the league had one.

 

It's a complete miracle we aren't fighting relegation this season. Reflects appallingly on the Championship because there is absolutely no doubt we're one of the worst sides in it. A real freak / fluke that we're as high as we are.

 

You actually watch us and think if the deduction is harsh maybe it will be enough to nail us. Maybe that Sheffield United win over Oxford this weekend does prove to be the difference, in a weird roundabout way.

 

The only reason I want us to win any games this season now is so that I get a semi decent price on our relegation next season because I will be placing a personal highest ever stake on it.

So having done the first double of the season over Derby on Monday then it was our turn to have it done to us by the Blades today! Elsewhere then egg on our faces again re the premature sale of Cannon, who predictably scored against us, as he did in the reverse fixture of course! Whoopeee!
